Now installed above an art gallery in an old biscuit factory in the French city of Nantes, the flag came under attack overnight Tuesday-Wednesday by a drone, which attempted for several minutes to set it on fire.

I knew that weaponized autism would find a way

Don't quote me exactly but he's hidden it maybe 2-3 times and 4chan has used some of their unbelievable crowd sourcing to find it every time. And it makes him RAGE so hard on the internet.

I didn't know it was still a thing but I imagine he put it somewhere and they've known where it is for a while but it was very hard to get to and they finally came up with a solution?

And it looks like it didn't quite work? Please feel free to correct.

EDIT: If I remember correctly, one time it was in a random corn field in Nebraska and they used bird migration patterns and some other crazy %$#& from the video feed to narrow it down and then people drove around honking until others heard it on the feed and navigated them to its location. Absolutely hilarious.

Yep.

quote:

The project has been repeatedly targeted by pro-Trump activists since it began at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York on the day of the president’s inauguration, January 20, 2017.

It began as a microphone-equipped camera mounted on a wall of the gallery in the Queens borough where Trump was born, and visitors were invited to chant the words “he will not divide us”.

The footage was live-streamed on the project’s website and was intended to be broadcast for the duration of Trump’s four-year term.

After scuffles and arrests, it travelled to a cinema in Albuquerque, New Mexico until gunshots were reported nearby and then to the Liverpool’s Foundation for Art and Creative Technology (FACT) centre where it was removed after “dangerous trespassing”

They found it in England by analyzing star movements, airline flight paths/time.

Tennessee.

4chan went all sherlock holmes on it. First they tracked geographical location by star patterns and sunrise/set. Tracked it to Tennesse and then moved on to the cabin's wood pattern that he had rented out and broadcasted from. They found pictures online of cabins and matched the wood pattern with the one he was at, then they tried renting them to see availability and found one that was rented out for the length of the month long event. Then one of the guys to verify went driving by beeping his horn, they heard it on the live stream. They then stole the flag and raised a MAGA hat and Pepe shirt up the pole.

It was incredibly awesome!

This is the 7th location, just recently put up. They have found and ruined the last 6 locations. Its in public and was put on a domed building downtown France. Only accessible by crane, thus the drone attack. They will get it!

Very disappointing result based on your gif.

From the article you linked:

quote:

The remotely-piloted arson attempt failed when the drone crashed. “An unauthorised drone carrying a burning piece of cloth approached the flag to try to set it alight. The fireproof flag was undamaged and the attempt failed,” Lieu Unique gallery said in a statement.
