[embed]VISs would make more sense before sentencing in my perfect world.[/embed]
It makes no sense to do it after. What's the point?

I heard tell the AB is waiting for him... he might not get time to eff up.

Maybe just to shame the criminal.. be on record.

His sphincter retention will be useless for anything less than a cue ball by the time he’s 21…and I hope he sees Metcalf’s face after he stabbed him everytime he gets ravaged again, again, & again. That’s justice.

Crazy how a 17 year young adult can't determine if murdering another person is illegal or not.
He's also probably too dumb to get an ID card
Remind me to never get murdered by a 17 year old young black adult

Not enough. But take solace in knowing he’s going to be getting stabbed in prison…in the bootyhole.

Figured he would have gotten 15-20. Was hoping 30-40 because of ability of early parole.
Sentencing needed to send a message to others
35 years was a good decision. Yes it was murder but leave the harsher sentencing for more heinous crimes…..

He will probably be out before 40.

I agree the sentencing was about as good as one could hope for.
I vehemently disagree on your categorization of heinous crimes... THIS crime was heinous. In a just world, Karmelo would swing at sunrise. As should ALL cold blooded murderers.
This case was no contest basically... because it WAS that clear cut, that heinous.

35 years? No fricking way.
He'll still live most of his life outside of prison. This is a sham.

Hopefully it’s 35 years of being made to be bent daily

I agree with you. Take solace in that someone like Anthony’s average lifespan is not 70+ years.
It’s far more likely that, given the sentence and the portion of his life that he spends inside, that he comes out even more of a soulless time bomb than he went in. He’ll be in jail for life or dead before he’s 50.

I’m sure his family will be present at every single parole hearing.
Did his family ever apologize on behalf of their degenerate prisoner son?

But, yeah... VISs would make more sense before sentencing in my perfect world.
I read these are recorded and he wouldn't look at them when they were telling their impact which doesn't show remorse. That could haunt him at the parole board. He should have been begging for their forgiveness and crying about how sorry he was.

That's what I read. Never would lift his head... even after being told, asked, begged to do so.
May he get what's coming to him.. and get it hard.

And a youngish man at that. He will still have plenty of life to live if he only serves 1/2 months time. Part of me is kind of disappointed it isn’t longer. But I’m relieved it wasn’t less and he will be locked up his best years. With today’s political climate it could have been worse. Especially once manslaughter was on the table. So the jury did good despite the circus.
