I worked with a female about 10 years ago. She was firm in her belief that a woman should have the right to abort her baby right up until birth. She and I had many "spirited" conversations on the subject. One day the local news covered a young couple (under age 20) that were being charged with killing their 2 week old baby. My co-worker was outraged over the news story and the death of the poor child. I asked her "What changed in the 2 weeks it's been outside the womb that caused her to now think it was valuable?". She went into a profanity laced tirade, called me every name in the book and then stormed off. Never speaking to me again.
