Sorry, but my home library is over 3,000 books and they are shelved randomly. Thankfully, there are Kindles now and I've got 4 of those filled up.

Joe McCarthy Was Correct, Just Too Early
Joe was not too early. The threat from collectivism was far more then than now. At that time almost every intellectual thought that collectivism was the future. People as diverse as Einstein and Eleanor Roosevelt thought so. Even many capitalists thought socialism was the future.
Now, not even the socialists think socialism is workable. Hardly any of them are lobbying for state control of the means of production. Instead, they are arguing for simple wealth confiscation, blithely unaware that it would lead to the same thing.
I’m not downplaying the threat today; I’m just pointing out that it was even more severe then.

I have my doubts about this

These DSA activists are seeking to destroy our current form of government as defined by the Constitution. Is that not inherently un-American and therefore incompatible with citizenship and public office?
While I may agree with everything here, being a socialist or communist is not illegal in tUSA.

Hollywood portrayed McCarthy as being crazy. Seeing Communists everywhere. Even in his sleep. Hollywood gaslighted the American people about McCarthy just like they did about Donald Trump.

Even if I grant the final list claim, your own statement shows he made a baseless claim about there being 57 communists in the state department. Why would he not have just published this list?
Maybe because he didn't have proof???
Tell us you've never known something to be true but couldn't "proove" it.

Roy Cohn's legacy definitely lives on through Trump, and it's where Trump got his messaging playbook from – never apologize for anything, and instead double down. Seriously, when has Trump ever apologized for anything. "Whatabouts" are the other big part of Trump's messaging playbook. Whatabouts are part of the American life now. It wasn't alwys that way.
Mock a handicapped reporter. Disrespect women and comment on their physica appearance. Post a social media video of the Obamas as apes. Get caught saying "I'm so famous I just grab em by the pussy." Don't apologize. Instead just recruit a bunch of old Clinton skanks and sit them behind a folding table and hold a press conference. "Oh yeah, what about."
Whatabouts are iditotic because they imply that a one wrong makes another wrong okay. It's how children make their point.

He had nothing to apologize about. Never apologize for TELLING THE TRUTH.

You sound like one of them incels I've been reading about in the news lately.
Also, there's no way in hell you have daugthers.

I don't think they condemn him either. What is interesting is that our spooks were reading coded Soviet messages to American commies and spies, but they wouldn't verify or correct any of McCarthy's accusations because they had to keep the secret that they were reading secret Soviet messages.

Sounds like you have TDS. So, I shouldn't take your opinion seriously.

Long before my time but holy shite this dude deserves to be exonerated.

You should know this claim is a LIE. A dozen examples of video evidence show he does the same gesture when someone is caught in a lie and thus stammers in response. OR a reporter making a baseless claim that has been repeated often.
The "mocked a reporter's handicap" is as much a lie as "very fine people on both sides" in Charlottesville is false.

“The middle 50%” will never get onboard with:
Importing illegals by the tens of millions
Mask mandates
Allowing men in women’s restrooms
State-facilitated/funded sex changes for children
Systemic discrimination against white males
Radical politically weaponized legal system
Propaganda packaged as news or education
Defunding police
No sir, these things the communists fight for could never happen here.

Do you believe that his "list" was real? You don't find it odd that anyone who pubicly critiscized him found their way onto it? He was right that there were Communist conspiracies, some run from Moscow and others by our own home-grown idiots but Joseph McCarthy's petty personal lies and vendettas gave Cronkite & Co. grounds to laugh it off. McCarthy is remembered as a lying, mean-spirited little man because that's what he was.

Perfect example of the message getting overshadowed by the narcissism of the messenger.

McCarthy was a giant piece of crap. While I agree communist should be rooted out at all levels, McCarthy was a drunken jackass that accused people with less than zero proof whatsoever.
