The raging hard-on these people have to shovel hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars to other countries will never cease to make me irrationally angry.
Hey, Congress, our power grid, our roads and our bridges are ancient, overloaded and need to be repaired/replaced/upgraded!
Congress: "Ukraine's borders are sovereign and must be protected!!!"
Hey, Congress, how 'bout fixing/properly funding the VA so our veterans can receive the healthcare they deserve??
Congress: "The primary concern of the U.S. government is providing humanitarian aid to Gaza/Haiti/Somalia/(insert other third-world shithole here)!!!
Hey, Congress, our southern border needs to be secured to stem the tide of uneducated, diseased illegal aliens streaming across every day!
Congress: "Something-something asylum, sanctuary something-something dreamers!!!"
As someone else said, these people hate you. And yet they just keep...getting...elected instead of tarred and feathered...

Exactly.
Just think of how robust our electrical grid and transportation systems would be if we took all that war spending and spent it in the homeland on physical capital. Hell, we need to help Raytheon, General Dynamics, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, etc. open civil engineering/construction divisions so they would put more pressure on building things instead of blowing up things. It's nuts.

The time has passed for ukraine. The curtain has been drawn and we all see the wizard now. Less votes than the last time they tried funding.
Dont overthink this with procedural nonsense, this bill will fail.
Soon the folks in DC will realize, its not just about being voted out of office, its about being labeled a pariah for the rest of your life.
Look at Manchin, not only could he not be re elected I bet a lot of WVirginians would spit the ground when they see him, selling out for trillions of build back better so his fricking wife could get kickbacks. And thats what they care about most the "prestige" of being a former legislator, gone.
Schumer is not just arrogant, he is so far removed from the pulse of America its absurd, and he will soon realize it when this pos is dead on arrival.

The border crisis is an issue the supersedes Ukraine, Israel, the Global Warming BS, etc.
The laws are in place. Our govt. isn’t enforcing them. All of this is hocus locus. Ukraine has nothing to do with the border.

Does part of the bill allow 5k Russians to enter Ukraine every day...and that the Ukrainian government will give those Russians free money ?
