They are cowards and can't defend their position.

Its hilarious seeing the people that have never experienced socialism/communism so adamant to ram it down people's throats but anytime you see an interview of someone who fled it to come to America asked about it, they fear for what the country may become.

They can't even really cite Europe anymore. The economic "tale of the tape" is clear. The monster that the EU was supposed to become never materialized and the European and British economies have been extremely stagnant and are way behind the US.

Without the EU improperly regulating American tech, this gap would be even more stark. This is their dirty little trick to prop up European tech.

Kernan talks a good game, but CNBC is just another cog in the propaganda machine.

It hasn't and it never will. But what we have right now - an economy driven by war and debt - is failing and will continue to fail. No alternatives are politically allowed because portfolios have been built on these things. But the more that have no key to "the American dream", the more will accept even historically bad alternatives. And screaming "you just haven't worked hard enough" is as short sighted as it is wrong.

White TV news reporter stumps exalted black politician with relatively simple question.

Black politician is embarrassed and makes a fool of herself.

Scandinavia is usually the examples they use. Norway is propped up by oil. Denmark has some of the strictest immigration laws in Europe protecting their welfare state. Sweden is imploding with all the “New Swedes” who abuse the welfare system.

Wouldn't the UK be the 51st state in terms of economics if they were part of the US?

Europe can't generate enough electricity to keep the lights on and air conditioners working, Die of heat exhaustion in the summer and freeze in the winter.

I suppose it will cure the problem of over populating the planet.

They never could. The so-called 'Nordic model' is not socialism, as Northern European countries keep pointing out.

And what makes you draw that conclusion? Who are you referring to?

Communism does not begin to rise in a healthy nation.

That gets into what "Socialism" is, exactly. It's a term not quite on the level of a globalism/lawfare, but close to it.

quote:

The Nordic model is an expanded welfare state

That redistribution is often associated with/attributed to socialism.

Also, Norway's oil industry is pretty much socialism in the traditional sense.

But yes, in terms of day to day, their regulatory state would make our progressives weep.

Nonsense. Communism is the car. Socialism is the engine.

'The goal of socialism is communism' - VI Lenin.

Also, the Nordic countries have some of the lowest corporate tax rates in the world.

And tax-redistribution is one of the ways socialism is described in the modern parlance, and the Nordics do that a great deal. Whether that's "socialism" or not gets into the words you quoted.

To put it more bluntly, the social safety net is almost always described as "socialist" these days.

Plus, the Europeans are not socialist. They were, in the aftermath of WW2, but those experiments failed horribly and they turned away from it.

That’s a side effect not the intended result.

All they care about is maintaining control of narratives to avoid a populist uprising before their totalitarian regime can dilute the risk via mass migration.
