All they care about is maintaining control of narratives to avoid a populist uprising before their totalitarian regime can dilute the risk via mass migration.
Brother, they were doing this 2 decades before your internet NPC talking points existed.

And just like that, they're gonna throw this broad over the side.

And what makes you draw that conclusion? Who are you referring to?
By every metric other than what you see on social media. Free education, over abundance of food and other resources provided by the public and private sectors. Access to jobs if you can just show up and work.
What can’t be controlled is an unrealistic expectation to having nicer homes, cars and other stuff you can’t afford based on what society tells you you need to be “happy.”

Nanny states aren't actual socialism, as they themselves keep pointing out.

The primary focus of the EU, France, Germany and the UK in the last five years has been specifically geared towards restricting content:
-UK Online Safety Act (2023): Senior managers at tech companies (including US platforms) can face up to 2 years in prison for failures
-France and X/Musk: French authorities have summoned Musk and executives for questioning. There have been reports of threats to freeze assets and pursue jail time or criminal charges (up to 10 years). Raids on X offices occurred, and non-cooperation risks obstruction charges.
-Pavel Durov (Telegram CEO): arrested and jailed for not regulating content per French guidelines.
They might’ve fined companies in the past for various regulatory BS, they’re actively jailing people over censorship/content.

Without the EU improperly regulating American tech, this gap would be even more stark. This is their dirty little trick to prop up European tech.
Wait til they have to pay for pharmaceuticals at market price or build their militaries back up. All of those nice social programs will get cut.

That woman is a product of being gifted everything she has with no real education in critical thinking. In fact, she would tell you that critical thinking is a racist construct.

"Free" education that is increasingly bad and even dangerous, depending on where you live. Over abundance of food, yes. Although much of that food is nutritionally bankrupt or even toxic. Many of the jobs you support cannot fund a living without some form of assistance and the cost of living only increases with every year. Housing costs across the board have skyrocketed. Secondary education costs are ludicrous. Transportation costs are ridiculously inflated and most parts of the country have no mass transit available. You can scream "go weld or flip burgers" all you like and call these younger people spoiled or whatever, but socialism would have zero appeal if things were working as they did half a century ago.
This isn't some Chinese or Russian plot. This is what happens when wealth concentrates at the top and the bottom continues to expand. Trump's rise was one path of reaction, a healthier one. Trump turning neo-con is causing many to - foolishly, yes - turn to the promises of socialism. But it didn't happen in a vacuum. See the national debt for exhibit A.

Complete lack of awareness in this post. It’s really sad. Zero accountability for how you utilize free education, access to food, housing, etc. Americans have agency to make choices. The problem is an overabundance and irresponsible utilization of resources, not lack therof.

Keep telling yourself that while you watch socialism spread. It isn't happening just because people are spoiled or stupid.

I agree with this post. I love capitalism but I don’t think much of our current crop of capitalists.
We had large wealth disparities a century ago but those at the top had the horse sense to give back to the poor. Rockefeller and Carnegie built universities and libraries. Rockefeller had a PR firm tell him to hand out shiny new dimes to kids on the street. These aspie tech tards today like Bezos spend their money putting Katy Perry and Gayle King into space. If American oligarchs (sorry, only foreigners are oligarchs. Americans are successful entrepreneurs) spent 5% of their wealth on children’s hospitals or funding a free college, they would be bulletproof.
I’m doing fine but I can understand why some of those who aren’t are upset.

Her brushoff response was perfect.
She knows socialism/communism/Marxism are all inferior when compared to a nation that embraces capitalism and meritocratic principles. Her biggest concern is walking the political tightrope and not falling off, she knows there is a shite ton of money to be had if she plays her DC Uniparty cards wisely.

If I won $100 million in the lottery I would do the following within a matter of months.
1. Gift the local fire station a 90 inch tv so they can watch when they have some downtime on a long shift.
2. Gift the local police with a college scholarship for the children of any cop killed in the line of duty.
3. Gift the local senior citizen’s center 3 of those high dollar Japanese massage recliners so they can rest their tired bones.
4. Buy a new scoreboard and dugouts for the local baseball field.
You spend this $300,000 because you are a good person who realizes that your current position is due to dumb luck.
Or you do it because you are a scheming sociopath who just wants to make sure that no member of your family will ever be convicted of anything in town.
Either will suffice. Just do it.
