A real crash will destroy cash too. Hyperinflation.

Yeah, cash is already being destroyed by inflation. I guess the investment dude in the OP is thinking once the market drops 20-30-40% you can offset your cash losing value due to inflation by investing in beat down equities?

Actually when you expect hyperinflation you should buy anything you can on credit (within reason) because the debt becomes cheaper to service and the value of what you purchased increases.

I bought a 2020 GMC for 42k right before vehicles became short and prices spiked. I owe 23k on it and it’s worth more now than what I bought it for. I’ll have it 5-7 years. It was a good financial decision because if I had waited I’d be paying a lot more a month on the same income

He may provide some good, basic financial education, but I wouldn’t put too much stock in his market predictions:

Talking about toilet paper hoarding, went into Sam’s Club this Sunday and all the toilet paper was gone…..has to be a premonition of what’s heading our way.

I have been in the market continuously since 1980, during this time no one has successfully predicted a market crash/correction. Peter Schiff got close with 2008, he was only off by two years.

Bone Frog Gun Club in Las Vegas just sent me a great price on Federal .223 (55 Grain).

500 RDS/$275 ... .55 per round.

I always use ammoseek.com, but there are several options well below 50 cents (38 cents/round is lowest)

yeah.. it's steel case, but it works.. and it's much better than nothing.
I would suggest changing the extractor spring with the BCM option. it will resolve any feeding issues that (can) come with steel case.
BravoCompany

YouTube vids out there detailing how to replace it. but it's a small investment of 10 minutes and 5 bucks.

there are also some 5.56 options in brass for less than 55 cents/round if you REALLY don't want to "modify" your gun.

I think he’s saying that they are betting on higher rates, they’ve been artificially holding them down by buying excess 10 years. They just said they weren’t going to taper before likely December, so this would be the opposite of what they are said to be doing.

This totally makes sense. "Short of T-bills" however is confusing. It's this kind of imprecise language discussing financial or economic matters that muddies the water and then people are talking past each other not making any sense.

No kidding that is some terrible prediction, almost whatever they call it when you should always do the opposite

There's not enough buyers willing to give the federal government the amount of money it's wanting to borrow.

I assume Robert thinks this is what it means but the Federal Reserve never fails to be the buyer of last resort to control interest rates and provide liquidity.

Advising to hold cash during the highest levels of inflation we've seen in a generation. Smart

I know you are being sarcastic but what type of funds in a typical 401K should someone reallocate their savings to avoid the crash? Cash position might be the best short term position then buy back in after the crash. Maybe simply hold a cash position for the month of October then get back in in November.

Crash imminent yet the Govt will still expect those property/land taxes, so we will all eventually be fricked. America is done

I’m 80% cash right now. Too much going on that is very negative. The 10 year holding steady and low is a fairly good sign, however. Oil as well

Crash during a worldwide recovery after Covid? Lol. No

This so called recovery is complete bull shite. They are only expecting very very little growth going forward. Starting in 2022, spending is going heavily in the red

I fail to see the deflation today when nothing is available to purchase. Stores are bare, there is no excess in goods which drive pricing down. It's hard to have deflation when there is scarcity.

you'd think he'd eat his own 'cooking' and be Rich dad, but maybe he is poor dad all along and made the Rich one all up .

and about that - anyone who buys anything from 'Lear Capital' (i.e. We Sell Gold & Pawn with catchy sophisticated name) or the Rosalyn one -is at the bottom of the financial literacy food chain. Why the heck would anyone who truly believes the imminent collapse is near, sell you their Gold in exchange for your dollars that are in imminent danger of said collapse?

Deflation is on assets and productivity ,not cash. Econ 101. If prices drop, companies make less, stock valuations plummet, tax revenues crater, and unemployment skyrockets. But there wont be deflation, so its moot

But dat cash doe

you deserve this :

this logic is the same as your parents taking all of your test for you in HS (QE) so you get good grades and get to college. At some point Mommy and Daddy (Fed) have to let you go so you can do it on your own. The longer they control, the harder the fall and more difficult to 'catch up'
