Second Dodger speaks out, publicly sides against the organization.

Dodgers picher Blake Treinen joins Clayton Kershaw with an even more forceful condemnation of the Sisters of Prepetual Indulgence and references Bud Light and Target in the process.
Will more pro athletes start being vocal and start a tidal wave of support for sanity? I think it could. Having both Treinen and Kershaw speak out makes it safe for others. The Dodgers and MLB can't punish a large number.

I suggest the sisters for perpetual whatever should be more diverse and show up dressed in muslim and jewish garb. See how that flies.

Status as a future Hall of Famer doesn't hurt either.

Be interesting to see how this flies in LA.
If the conservatives start boycotting organizations that promote their "woke" status, it puts organization in a bad spot. If they had take the apolitical position to start with, nobody would have said much. Once you get on that slippery slope, you can't get off. Caving to the conservatives will cause a whole 'nother uproar that the organization will have to deal with.

The people who watch baseball in LA, and the massive Hispanic population will side heavily with these pitchers.

What would be really cool is if all the Hispanics who are Catholic on both rosters boycotted the game. That could start the tidal wave. At least 6 Dodgers. Only 2 or 3 Giants though.

I never had to worry about negotiating a pro sports contract but these guys should really think about the cost of living, taxes, and personal freedom infringements they are subjecting themselves to when they sign a contract to play in one of the liberal utopias.

These people aren’t making fun of religion in my opinion. They are simply God haters, and the laws of nature ordained by God himself. They have a thing against God, and those who follow God.

How’s all that money working out for the Bud Light people?
Yes, FU money helps but rich people can feel economic pain just like the rest of us. There just has to be more zeroes behind it.

At least these two can play. Kaepernick was a bench warming grifter.

On this note
quote:
Bank of America tabulated Nielsen research covering the four weeks ending May 20. Anheuser-Busch volume dropped 17%, including a 28% dive for Bud Light. Its other brands are struggling as well: Budweiser volumes are down 16%, Michelob Ultra volumes are down 10% and Busch volumes are down 12%.
But other beers have thrived, with Coors Light volume up 16%, Miller Lite up 15% and Yuengling up 32%. Molson Coors Beverage makes Coors Light and Miller Lite.

Cliffs?
Not everyone spends time following the political views of men paid to play a child’s game.
EDIT
Apparently the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence is a gay performance group that primarily engages in satire of religious organizations. It would appear that the Dodgers originally included them in the teams “pride day“ festivities, then disinvited them, then re-invited them. A couple of the pitchers are not excited about the fact that the Sisters are back on the schedule.

That's what they are doing. They are telling the Dodgers to stay out of politics, religion, etc. They are telling the Dodgers to "shut up and throw the ball"
If the players were the ones supporting these weirdos the Dodgers are honoring, you would have a point.
They aren't.
You don't.

it’s always so beautiful when some moron posting on a message board criticizes some other poster for posting on a message board.
Even more beautiful in a post calling out hypocrisy. Well done.
