Sean Spicer just said Alabama is going to try a 7-0 redistricting tomorrow.

He told Bannon this on War Room.

Meemaw went from nothing to 7-0 in 48 hours.

They left can only blame themselves for this.

My bad. Like the other posters said, it’s currently 5-2.

Meemaw was going to leave it that way for this year.

Yeah. Good luck drawing it to where blacks can't get elected.

Looks like it’s going to happen.

I think right now AL is 5-2 R/D at the moment.

Democrats don’t honestly care whether blacks are elected, they care whether DEMOCRATS are elected.

If black people traditionally voted Pub, the Democratic Party wouldn’t give two-shites about redistricting.

I think it’s 5-2 right now.

They were forced by the courts to draw up a second unconstitutional minority-majority district like Louisiana.

6-1 in Bama is reasonable and fair but there’s one district that looks like a snake had an epileptic seizure.

The forced 5-2 was absurd. Dems can get a dose of exactly what they deserve now.

Trying to reason through the effects of these maps.

Am I correct in assuming that the state legislatures should start going red (or at least higher majorities in borderline states)?

Won't hold up in court. Callais said could not draw districts on race and disenfranchising a third of the voters from electing their own race is going to get strict scrutiny.

Just like these clowns who think we are going to draw Bennie Thompson's district so he can't get re elected. Not happening.

It’s only fair. Race has nothing to do with congressional districts.

Go back and read the ruling. It's not about race anymore. Why do you think they gerrymandered the black districts in the first place?

They should revert to the same districts they had before the Court made them change about 3 years ago. It was based on the 2020 census. Put it up for a vote on Monday and be done with it.

Race does not and SHOULD NOT matter.

People should be judged by the CONTENT of their CHARACTER.
