Are there any federal offices on the ballot? Does the potential SCOTUS ruling apply to all elections, or just elections for federal office?

This. Unless they somehow tie in a civil rights violation, the USSC can't really tell California how to hold their local elections.

I have come to truly hate seeing that name/ account. In this case posting about HOLY BREAKING NEWS in a case that was argued months ago and that hasn't been decided yet.
