re: Scott Adams on Pizzagate. IMO it's a fair assessment (at this point).

This is ridiculous...everyone is racist...from one point of view or another.
Pedos should be extinguished from earth.

There sure is a lot of sick imagery on Podesta's walls.

However going from sick imagery on walls to charges of pedophilia is a big leap.

The first piece of evidence against Podesta for pedophilia is a child victim regardless of sick imagery on his walls.

With that said and knowing that Podesta has pedophilia art on his walls, he should be one of the first suspects questioned concerning child crimes committed in his neighborhood.

I wouldn't dine at or take my family and friends to Comet Pizza not because of the internet allegations (okay maybe) but from the creepy Instagrham post by its owner and the tranny band that plays there. It's just a creepy place.

I've been there twice. Mainly just because it was around the corner from where I used to live.

The pizza is decent, but it's got a real hipstery feel which isn't my scene at all.

Not gonna go back. Not because I believe in the Pizzagate stuff, but because the place is sure to become a sort of proud liberal pilgrimage stop after this story blows over.

I don't know the veracity of the FBI "decoding", but if it is the "rosette stone" of pedo speak, then Podesta casually passed on raping a young girl...

That's enough for me...

I did...you are saying the repetitive name calling will bring the term to a place where it doesn't matter...

I'm operating under the assumption that anyone that acts on that sickness should be purged from the earth...whereas, who cares if a Japanese guy won't sell a car to a Korean.

They are morally not equivocal.

From a "national morality" level, yes...

But personally, I don't need to wait for a media or legal..what can I do? Write letters/emails...a bunch of them.
This joint is in DC, so it's not as if the third can just band together and raze it. It will take political pressure. Letter writing works.

Whether they are morally equivalent. The point is that when you have a blanket equivalence for every political opponent that you slap on the silence the opposition it creates a backlash.

This isn't political...there are plenty of creeps on the right in this as well.

This is elites vs. those under rule of law.

That is definitely one strong connection. Also the way food names as code for pedo talk in the Podesta emails were quite suspicious.

I think they are code words (not sure how anyone could disagree), but it could be a code only they know and have nothing to do with this horrible stuff.
It's the surrounding stuff with Abramovic, the artwork, the instagram pictures (if these are the pictures and comments they made public....), etc that make me believe in something sinister.

As far as the emails, it's remarkable that ANYTHING like this would be discussed in emails, even in code.

For the purposes of this discussion, I'm just going to keep this on the political level. I found the entire episode ASTONISHING. I view the entire thing as the first sophisticated volley of dis/mis-information from The Right in my lifetime that also managed to tap into the underground internet Zeitgeist. It was WAY too creepy and dark for the vast majority of people to really dig into, and with all the photographic "evidence" it didn't really need to be proven. It just lay out there. People were unable to say the word "Podesta" without being filled with revulsion. They were unable to think of Podesta without thinking of emails and Clinton and how rules don't apply to them and secrets and the Ruling Class, etc. Guilt by association. The whole thing really had no ceiling, it could not be contained. It was reminiscent of a thousand Leftist "take-downs" of their political enemies.

Imho, with Pizzagate , we saw the future of American political scandal. Not only will there be no secrets, it will be increasingly difficult to recognize truth from propaganda. And only the real truth-seekers will dig deep enough to ever know the difference.

You're probably right, and that is where much of this "fake news" pushback originates. This Pizzagate ordeal is a 4chan wet dream that is now treated as fact by some on this board. Discussing it as if it is a well-documented certainty is intellectually misleading.

I see nothing wrong with laying out the clues for someone to make their own judgment, but anything more than that is irresponsible and intentionally biased.

I also want to be clear that many in the media taking issue with fake news are hypocritical and guilty of the same shitty, biased reporting that fits an agenda, but two wrongs don't make a right.

I agree with you. Not that you could ever take right leaning news at face value, but it will suck if our side is consumed with the same desire to push false narratives on a broad scale.

I have friends who live down the street from Comet Ping Pong, know the owners and have known other people who worked there. It's just a restaurant.
