These people are exhausting. She says children HAVE to drink something that makes them sick. No they don’t. There are no milk police at school screaming “drink it!!” in kids’ faces. Many schools offer alternative drinks and you can also just drink water. Or, hey, why not bring something from home?

As far as who can digest milk, she’s trying to insinuate since 90% of people in some CA school districts aren’t white, milk makes them sick. This is bullshite. Some people are lactose intolerant, but typically that arises later. The majority of elementary aged children tolerate milk just fine. It’s a good source of protein, calcium, and vitamin D. Just watch—they’ll take milk out of schools, and in 10 years, this woman will be crying on a podcast about how the racist school districts gave black and brown children rickets by denying their main source of vitamin D.
