How cooked is Trump?

I mean they will impeach this guy as soon as everyone is sworn in.

Not to mention, a Republican controlled house/senate didn’t pass the Save ACT, and didn’t even do anything about Epstein

How cooked are we as a country?

We definitely need to in deep prayer for our country

Dems will be republican hunting for the foreseeable future until they have complete control over all branches of government

For the 2yrs, not that much. Congress wasn't doing anything to support Trump outside of the BBB.

The problem is if things do get better when Trump exits Iran, the Dems will tout "see, you gave us power in 2026, so trust us with 2028". At that point, we are fricked.

Are they just going to impeach everyone until there’s a democrat with veto power?

Our country’s founders intended on a very slow moving government and the next two years will be just that. At the very worst, on a federal level, no bills will be signed by the executive

Meh. They can impeach him in the House. But they don't have a super majority to convict him in the Senate. He's not getting removed. It'll all be for theatrics

Maybe Trump can triple the tariffs before the new Congress is sworn in just to make sure that things grind to a halt.

Prepare for 4 years of AOC. The path has been laid for her and her ilk.

Honestly I’d be more worried if they didn’t try. If they go hyper partisan it should snap all those who didn’t vote out of it a bit. Independents will also get tired of the pettiness.

If they actually act professional I think it’s worse for us in 2028

I see the Democrat party with some of the same problems as the Republican party. The Muslim side is gaining more control right now, much like MAGA did in 2016. They will alienate the moderate side of the party, and sometime in the near future, it will all break apart.

What Trump did to the republican party was the only way it possibly could have ended. Most non MAGA Republicans saw this coming from a mile away.

Wouldn’t be shocking for 5 republicans to flip. Trump is a lame duck president and the best shot for most to keep their seat is to distance themselves as much as possible. Not saying it will 100% happen but Trump is more in danger of impeachment now than he has been at any point. Especially if Iran drags on, more Epstein file inquiry, tariffs, etc. he’s given them plenty of ammo.

Even that moron, James Carville, who is as bad as they come ... recently stated he would rather the GOP stay in power than the Democrats win this big.

Because it will be the DSA agenda moving ahead.
