Our gas isn’t going to $6 regardless of what happens over there.
They’d have to:
-show they can and will effectively sink freighters in the gulf
-begin effectively attacking Kuwait and SA oilfield which would force us to enter the war and create a situation in which absent direct kinetic Chinese intervention Iran was guaranteed to fall and a new government put in place
Even then we are nearly self sufficient when it comes to oil production so our domestic prices wouldn’t hit $6 even if Europe and Asia did.

yeah here's the thing jethro, $6 for gas really has no effect on me i filled up yesterday at cosco, 21 dollars 9 gallons paid $2.37 per gallon. if it had cost me $6 a gallon then i would've paid $54 if that extra $30 makes a huge difference in my life then i have a "me" problem not a "we" problem.
