Your age and intellect are showing profusely tonight. Wow. Your lack of education is also showing. Why not try actually researching the issues you are bitching about. Hint, the boomers are not the problem.

Why don’t you and the twerpy climate change kids go plant a fricking tree on Earth day and actually do something that makes a difference rather than just asking the government to baby you? As always is the case... Hyp o crites

all of you showed up like bloat flies on shite so i got a little weeded.

But uh. Choosing the planet over oil profit isn’t really ignorant, big guy. The OP thought his stupid repost was super savage and I didn’t agree. We have better options than we did when a lot of these naysayers were actually still relevant and there’s no reason to claim how entitled our youth are when Consumer Culture was invented by their grandparents.

Well why you here preaching to us? Why are these climate protests making stops at the climate change hypocrites that profit from claiming they are activists? When they are factually and unapologetically gigantic polluters with no remorse? They need to be at THEIR house.

You will never... ever.... eva eva eva eva... get a huge number of people on board while you have these hypocritical climate change profiteers out there running their mouths about rising sea levels and carbon emissions when their actions prove the exact opposite.

And “championing the cause” is not telling people to downsize and park their cars when they have heated swimming pools that use more electricity than several homes. That is defeating your cause.

Serious question, how old are you? Your writing is around 7th grade level. Your responses are around 9th grade.

that you think that the island of Manhattan alone could be entirely powered by clean energy. I cant even imagine the transmission lines, needed to reach the areas where this 'clean energy' would originate from

and No, nuclear doesn't count (see: Chernobyl, 3 mile island, Fukushima, Tokaimura, Mihama, Kyshtym, Idaho Falls)

Is it possible that *you* don't "think for yourself" (from what stupid people taught you).
I want to know if acknowledge that is a possibility at all, or if you believe it is completely impossible.

When did I mention Manhattan or any of their specific environmental challenges?

The scope of this crisis has many layers and is far reaching, I never said I have all the solutions to every little specific problem. It’s great you all recognize how problematic our society is in reference to how it affects the planet and wildlife.

You all have attacked me for hours now because I pointed out that 1. Sharing an old mans stupid anecdote that youth climate change protestors don’t deserve to protest because “AC in classrooms” is STUPID. 2. There are options, such as solar in schools (my example because of the OP and how weak of an argument it is that students must forgo AC to be allowed to protest climate change inaction) that would be a step in the right direction if policy and regulation supported those goals 3. A loud swath of the boomer generation is gleefully content to pass on the current status quo that they created with zero self awareness to recognize their own entitlement.

What happens when schools go solar? Overlooked benefits

Why is this such a bad idea again?

Sigh. They aren’t the ones posting anecdotal trash like the OP, dearie. It’s really not obvious? I should have quoted more, none of you are following along very well.
