You're right, it's low hanging fruit, but SNL is and will always be the leftest of the left.

McKinnon is the only truly talented cast member. Even though you know she is likely a big HRC/Warren supporter, her parodies of both are spot on...illogically pretentious and wholly unlikeable
Bernie Sanders IS a real life version of Larry David from Curb. NO ONE could play Bernie better.
