The article title makes it sound like all R's it is Sasse speaking out.

Graham praised the E.O.'s but then went along with Sasse

If The house and senate did their job then he wouldn’t have to make the EO .

The deplorable and despicable media have no interest in covering statements from Republican Congressmen unless they are disagree with Trump's position or make some kind of negative comment about him. They readily provide a forum for those opposing Trump, but provide very little cover of those supporting him.

Congressional members saying they're prefer a congressional solution ... and ?

Of course they would. That's not speaking out against Trump, just stating facts of how our system is supposed to work.

Which it isn't.

And Trump is doing something about that.

Can anyone point me to Ben Sasse calling out Obama on EO's when they were done , not years later?

This is what I'm concerned with.

The dems can't be seen obstructing the relief the EO gives.

But they are certainly not above letting neverTrumpers do the dirty work.

It’s shite like this why independents like me hold their nose when voting republican. I’ll never vote democrat, but I just cannot consider myself a republican with asshats like this in the party.

The executive order is done. The Republican Party can either stand with the president and use the executive order as negotiating leverage, or stand with the democrats and uselessly waive your finger.

Agreed.

Turtle made statements on Trump's side.

The thing is deep down about all of them but the R group that defended Trump in peach mint want Trump gone.

But they have to play the game...

Ben Sasse is a never Trumper. I am only shocked Romney didn't join him.

They're calling it out as unconstitutional, yet somehow declining to judicially challenge it as unconstitutional. Disingenuous chickenshits.

We can go back to hating legislation thru EOs once a Dem is back in the White House, correct?

I'd hate to be inconsistent.

Good for Sasse in standing up to big government and swampiness.
