So the solution to hearing horrible things from Alex Jones was to align themselves financially with his ongoing production and overall viability of his brand?

The court. Aka the finder of fact in all civil and criminal matters in the history of the legal systems of all of western civilization.

By that rationale OJ didn’t murder 2 people. Yet the civil court said he did. Which “truth” is the truth?

The court is not the arbiter of truth.

“Finder of fact” doesn’t mean what you think.

Would you prefer that the families still continue to get nothing while Alex Jones continues to spend $93,000 a month trying to run out the clock on this judgement against him and the creditors?

Garnishing his revenue is not “aligning”.

In the back forth a couple pages back, indefatigable was talking about the truth. Catch up before responding.

He shoulda filed an answer and defended himself. Instead he didn’t, defaulted and this is what he gets. Some might say he fricked around and found the frick out.

No one is claiming every judicial decision is perfect. However, it is a fallacy to state that because the OJ Simpson jury got the wrong verdict, then every court decision is wrong. This is an example of the "hasty generalization" fallacy, which is the assumption that all members of a group are the same based on the characteristics of a few members.

Of course, there will always be cases where juries make mistakes. But this does not mean that the entire judicial system is flawed or that it should be abolished. It is still the best system we have for resolving disputes fairly and impartially.

No. I was not.

And I’m pretty sure the topic at hand is Alex Jones defaming the parents of children who died in school shooting.

Do you believe what Alex peddled? Do you believe the children are still alive?

Should Bernie Sanders be liable for Steve Scalise's gun injuries? The leftists in this thread want liability for speech when it suits them.

Not really.

Jones's text messages and emails revealed that he was aware that his claims about Sandy Hook were false. In one text message, he wrote, "I was a little bit careless with my words yesterday."

Several of Jones's former employees testified that he instructed them to spread false information about Sandy Hook. One employee said that Jones told him to "make Sandy Hook look like a hoax." Another employee said that Jones told her to "create fake news" about the shooting.

He even admitted to doing so. On multiple occasions, Jones has admitted that he made false statements about Sandy Hook. In one deposition, he said, "I know that some of the things I've said about Sandy Hook have been wrong." In another interview, he said, "I regret some of the things I've said about Sandy Hook."

CSB. I'm sure you picked that up on some commie website. So how many of those guests were sued for defamation? How many of those 1939 times were Jones or "guests?" How many different guests contributed to that number?

But there are irrefutable facts regarding this case that are not objective. Here are a couple. Derek Chauvin is a convicted murderer. A jury of Mr. Chauvin’s peers found beyond a reasonable doubt that Derek Chauvin murdered George Floydd.

Again, not the topic for this thread. Go back to that one.

Note: I did not state that the verdict is proof the jury got it right. Seems like you have me confused with someone else sweetheart.

Did you feel the same way when Derek Chauvin got sent to prison after Floyd’s overdose?
