Salvation Army Struggling For Donations

It's almost as if going woke and choosing to chastise white people for being white, has upset the white people that donate to the Salvation Army.

I'm sure that's not it, though.

We used to donate to them every year. Haven't given them a penny since the letter came out and will not give them a penny until they issue a public apology. We now donate each month through our local food bank, and we help support an orphanage through our church.

Pro tip: Stop giving your money and support to organizations that hate you.

If you depend on spare change donations in an increasingly cashless society your donations are going to go down.

They've had QR codes on the kettle signs now for a couple of years so you can donate quickly via mobile. One of the smartest moves they made.

They are not merely an organization but rather a religious group. When I learned of this; no more giving

I visit retail stores all over the country this time of year, as in I have been in hundreds… and I can count the bell ringers I’ve seen on one hand. Fewer ringers, less retailers allowing begging, less cash in pockets, bad PR…. Perfect storm. Frig em

The Salvation Army does some good things but they need to move their National Office out of the DC bubble.

Couple takeaways

Salvation Army is a bureaucratic money pit
Cashless society hurts the endless impulse donations
The economy is buckling. Charity is always the first to go

I still do the angel tree at Christmas for a kid or two. It’s sad thinking of a little kid with little to open for Christmas, it’s worth the money to get a couple toys and some new clothes and shoes

since this is going straight to a kid it doesn’t really go to the Salvation Army I jus have to assume they deliver it

I used to give blood at Salvation Army’s blood drives. Saw how they assisted illegals so I found another place to donate..
