Wow the scumbag Saints collectively decided to honor an attempted murderer and Rapist. This should remove those that have been on the fence.

Nail meet coffin. It’s over for me. I have missed less than 5 Saints games in almost 30 years. I will miss all 16 this season.

Here’s what I think is going on right now.
Around 70% of the NFL players are black. Most of them are easily manipulated into spinning up for a SJW cause on a normal day. And times are not normal, and they are extremely susceptible to manipulation on the BLM issue. Their angst over the deaths is irrational but facts don’t matter right now.
The 30% of players not black must earn a livelihood next to the 70%. Overtly opposing or even not showing complete capitulation to the issues of the 70% can cost you your job. Once again facts don’t matter, only feels and social media reactions. Brees demonstrated For all players in all leagues what happens if one does not capitulate.
But the NFL-Saints overplayed this helmet ploy. Timed with the NBA overplaying their hand, the helmet issue has bought the team an unexpectedly large backlash. And the NBA is in a real down spiral as well.
Time will tell if they’ve learned the lesson, and start to separate their entertainment product from divisive politics.

Cannot happen soon enough. Freak ALL of them. Taxpayers have been handing out billions in freebies to billions for sport franchises who pay the players multi-millions and most of them are a bunch of greedy ingrates. #BOYCOTTNFL, #BOYCOTTNBA

Would love to know what the nfl big wigs really think. I assume most fear for the future of the sport and also realize the ridiculousness of antics like this regardless of what they say.
The NFL is caving and pandering to black athletes that comprise over 50% of their players......the NFL and the owners are completely detached from their fan base.....we’re not down with their SJW BS!!
