Ryan Reynolds was 4 years old when the 80's started.
Maybe he was "brutalized" by not getting as many Jello Pudding Cups as he wanted.

Ryan Reynolds grew up in Canada and moved to the U.S. in 1995.
In the 80s, he was a Canadian child—not an American adult.
So maybe he should stop lecturing Americans about what America was like back then.
Hollywood keeps finding new ways to make us like them even less.

If there was a time machine I'd go back to the 80's right now

I disagree. The 80’s were incredible. Just not in Canada

Whenever I’m in need of a political history lesson, I always turn to the renowned scholar Ryan Reynolds

We were a more homogenous society in the 80s. I'm not talking about skin color.

You don't hate these virtue-signaling Hollywood loons nearly enough. All these phonies care about is clinging to the hive mentality which exists inside their little Hollywood bubble.
That's why 85% of them ALWAYS say the same thing about EVERYTHING.
PS - Hey, Ryan. For an encore, why don't you tell us how "great" things were under Carter until Reagan came along and "messed everything up."

RR is a well known total a-hole. The left is desperately trying to cast golden times like the 80's as horrible and the shite world we live in today as some kind of utopia.
He's also likely double bearding with Blake Lively.

Cable television was in its early stages, only 3 main tv channels we all watched the same TV, Cheers, Mash, Dallas.
We all watched the same movies, only a couple of NFL games on per week, etc.

He comes off as feminine and pretending to be very intellectual.. how is the guy popular? Must be with some women. Add the very annoying voice.

So is his wife. Even I know that, and I never make any effort to get news about these Hollywood phonies.

Have you even lived if you have never experienced having two tv's, one a color the other a small black and white, going in the living room on NYD because there were two bowl games on at the same time, and dad wanted to watch both of them?
Having grown up in 80's and entering my teens in the early 90's I can say I'd go back to the 80's in a heartbeat.
A kid could go collect 15 glass bottles and get the .75 cents in return for them then go and buy a can of skoal for .75 cents by saying his was getting it for his dad.
Life was just simpler

Ryan Reynolds makes it really difficult to like Ryan Reynolds.

What he described is true of pretty much every decade. Nothing wrong with being nostalgic for the good things experienced, though.

I mean, he’s objectively handsome and funny. Not that hard to figure out.
