The fear is so thick you could use it as gravy.

My grandmother is 84 and we just had to take her car keys.

Pretty sure she shouldn't be allowed to decide how to interpret the laws of the United States of America either, but with all this going on, I'm not so sure.

n my view, oral argument is essentially unnecessary in a well-briefed case. Cases that reach SCOTUS are generally well-briefed.

I see the bigger issue is of the Justices ability to confer on the opinion.

RBG will become like Dr. Who and simply regenerate. The next time she appears in public she'll be be dressed in a pantsuit, under which appears to be a colostomy bag and back brace. She'll also be wearing one of those masks made of glasses and a big nose... and notably missing a shoe.

They are currently perfecting a way to communicate with RBG in real time.

Renquist jumps to mind, but it is probably not unusual historically.

Was he following a written statute allowing a SCOTUS judge to not be present during arguments and ruling in absentia, or did he just wing it?

She did a segment where she worked out with Colbert, that was painful. He’s not funny, and she seemed barely functionaling. I’m on a mobile or I’d try and link it. Either way, she’s too old.

If RGB were brain dead and on a roomful of machines to keep her body alive, they’d have a clerk hold her hand and read the cases out loud. The clerk would determine her ruling by one squeeze for yay and two for nay. No one would be allowed to be in the room during hand squeezes.

I would love to be a fly on the wall in Schumer or Pelosi's office if Trump offered Merrick Garland in exchange for complete funding of the wall. I'm not saying it would be the best idea in the world but deciding whether or not to take it would probably cause both of their heads to explode.

When she passes, there will be sheer terror from the left when/if Trump gets to nominate another SCOTUS.

TMZ has video of her allegedly leaving her place to get in a waiting car.

She was in a wheelchair and you couldn't even really see her face. Her entire body was covered in what appeared to be a blanket and she had difficulty manevering.

When Chief Justice William Rehnquist was battling thyroid cancer, he missed several arguments throughout the 2004-2005 term.

Rehnquist also didn't weigh less than his age at the time, and completely blitzed. There is NO way RBG is of sound mind at this point.

Sorry to be contrarian here, but can’t the lady take a sick day without so much fuss?

If you or your wife got sick or had a procedure (LASIK, vasectomy, etc), can’t they be allowed a couple of days before getting harrassed by the public at large?

And yes, I hope she retires before Nov. 2020.
