Who’s Larry Doby? Well, he was of course the SECOND African American baseball player to play in the Major League.

Yet the Left acts like Ginsberg is Jackie Robinson, and basically has relegated Sandra Day O’Connor - who served on the Court honorably for years and retired gracefully when she reached the appropriate age - to footnote status, as far as being any sort of trailblazer for equity.

It’s weird how that works.

If she's a no show for Trump's SOTU (wherever it may be), it should be accepted as fact that she's dead.

Not saying that to be cruel, but we'll just have to move forward with the nomination.

I have a Larry Doby Topps baseball card from 1959, his last year in the majors. I wonder if it's worth anything.

O’Connor retired early because her husband was terminally ill and she wanted to be with him.

I made the same comparison when discussing the RGB movie.

She wasn't the first woman on the USSC
She wasn't the first Jewish person on the USSC
She wasn't the first New Yorker on the USSC

Thus, the lionizing is ridiculous. I'm still waiting to see Larry Doby's number retired throughout MLB or the movie/tribute documentaries about the Apollo 12 mission. You know, they ALSO landed on the moon

vs RBG who will be voting absentee during her wake.

Larry Doby was better at his job than RG was at hers.

In other words, the typical sort of things that start to happen when we reach our mid 70s, the "appropriate age" for retirement.

Kinda wonder if this is why Trump suddenly became okay with postponing the SOTU.

I don't know if RBG is the reason, but I believe something has come to light which made Trump decide to postpone. It will be interesting to find out what it is....

Him realizing he'd look like an idiot giving a SOTU from somewhere other than the House Chamber with over 1/2 of elected officials not showing up

meh, she did champion some shite for womens rights and equal pay, i can see where in liberal circles she is worshiped for that. in reality she just held the same positions as many conservatives and just managed to worm her way to the spotlight to take the most credit for it

What a quitter. RBG isn't even going to let her own death stop her from serving on the Supreme Court.

Pelosi

He was not invited.

After trump signs bills to open most agencies (not dhs) he can come to house to rail against the moon.
