Well Europe didn't think that "Tyrant" was much of a tyrant when they were buying oil and gas from him. Maybe NATO, U.S., needs to stop trying to cause "revolution" in the former bloc countries.

They've said they wouldn't use nuclear bombs unless they were attacked. I suspect that's the implication here.
They aren’t going to use nuclear weapons regardless.

Scene from Super Troopers where the kids are high and pulled over to the side of the road and one of the troopers pulls up behind them telling them to pull over.
sir we're already at war, we can't war any farther!

That may turn out to be true. But I interpreted the statement as a threat to use nuclear weapons, however empty that threat may be.

I agree with you, they should have listened to Trump, instead of saying he was trying to split the allies apart, but it still doesn’t excuse Russia’s actions. Everything Russia is doing is inexcusable.

The world buys oil from the Saudis.
Putin was a tyrant before and now.
Oil is just important.

The West also wouldn’t be what it is today, without the trading and economic relationship it’s had with China for about 40 years now. Chinese tyrannical rule is as bad as it gets for such a developed nation. That’s just reality of the world we have lived in.

So that's what you see in the news. The fact is there has been a civil war going on in Ukraine since 2014 between Russian separatists and Ukrainian nationals. It was instigated and fed by the West, in particular the U.S., to cause strife between the Pro-Russian Eastern Ukraine and Pro-NATO Western Ukraine. It directly led to the annexation of Crimea and it's ultimately going end up dividing Ukraine into half.

LOL. A total deflection but you're a leftist and have to carry the water for you people.
I'm more concerned with the tyrants that hijacked our current government.

Well then to make it simple, do you think what Russia is currently doing in Ukraine, is ok? Yes or no.

Nothing wrong with your comment at all.
As long as you recognize that Zelensky and the Ukrainian government are NOT "good guys". They are a bunch of crooked money launderers.
And also that you understand that this is NOT our war.

hard to tell. I think it's awful that the U.S. instigated this war when it could have been totally avoided. The ones suffering are the innocent Ukrainian people, however, this situation is more complex that what you see in the Western news media.
I have more of an understanding because my wife has relatives currently in Kiev. I have travelled there and have visited Russia and other former bloc countries over the years. Russia has warned NATO and the U.S. they would not tolerate the "in your face" actions in the countries surrounding Russia.

You see I agree with you somewhat, but you guys never call out anything that the Russians have done that’s wrong. They are just as much in the wrong, as the US and West are, and could still have prevented this catastrophe, more than the West. They want Ukraine to be a part of Russia again, as much as the West wants Ukraine to be a part of NATO.
Russia didn’t have to start a war there, and that’s the bottom line. I know that administrations like the Obama and Biden ones, have made this even more messy, but it still doesn’t give Russia an excuse for doing what they’re doing. I think Ukraine should just be a buffer state, and not belong to neither NATO or Russia. Ukraine should belong to Ukraine, and the West and Russia need to sit down and make peace. Should have happened in the 90s and early 2000s, but both groups had a thirst for confrontation against each other, and still do today. Putin likes confrontation with the West. That’s why I don’t agree with many on here, that he’s trying to fight the globalists or whatever.

Not to the extent that you think. The biggest motivation for those people, is to not be under Russian occupation again. What good is money to them, if they’re all going to get killed? How could it be a money laundering scheme, if they won’t be able to use the money, because they’re dead?

And also that you understand that this is NOT our war.
What war has ever been our war? I understand that it isn’t our war, and not a single US soldier should be sent to Ukraine, and not a single one will, but there are major implications in the future, if Russia is able to get what they want. I hate the different treaties, and alliances we have, because it has us involved in any conflict around the world, even though none of it has anything to do with the US mainland, but that’s just the reality of the world we live in. What can we do about it?
Hoping Putin and Russia sends a message to the US, and shows up Biden, is not a good thing at all.
