Russia announcing gas flow to Europe cut to zero next week
Good. Europeans must learn (if they have not already) that Russia is unreliable and malicious at this time.
While many in Russia have worked hard to build actual business relationships around the world, the leadership has decided to embrace a national policy of military conquest and expansion. Until that policy is abandoned, Russia is not a reliable partner in any ordinary business relationship. They cannot be trusted.

You need to get that message to China, and India, and Asia, and the Middle East, and Africa, and South America, and Mexico.
Basically everyone outside of the US, Canada, EU, Australia, and Japan.

The problem with that is that none of those places are trustworthy partners either. Their industries are largely either unstable af or mere arms of their governments.

We seem to do business with them.

What does that have to do with my post?
Doing business with them doesn't make them trustworthy.

Well, it is about time to teach the Europeans what happens when you put all of your eggs in one basket.

shite, son. Check and see where your shoe is made. Gonna be China, India, or a SE Asian country.
Now the Middle East, Africa, and parts of South America you’d be correct. But those places are perfect trade partners if your goal is to take control over large swaths of these areas after they can’t afford to pay you.

Fire up the solar panels and windmills!
Should be fine.
Someone may want to check to see if the windmills were built by the same subcontractor as in Texas.

Big deal. Biden tried to do that to us too. Way ahead of Putin on that.

Easy fix: they can just fire up their wind turbines.

The effect will be felt, but not that big of a deal as russian gas has already been drastically cut. They don't supply most of the gas to Europe right now.
