I refuse to believe the GOP will voluntarily squander a golden chance to have it's most firm grip on power in our lifetimes in order for a few cucks like Romney, Sasse, Lee, Murkowski, and Collins to "appear objective" for a week.
What does that ultimately matter? Romney preening for Chuck Todd is worth harming Trump and harming our chances to retake the House and grow our SCOTUS majority? Nobody with a brain believes this. They're going to hold firm - they've got to.

I have been worried about this for awhile now. I think Rand Paul was correct. Turtle won't have the nads to call ALL of the witnesses. How dare a whistle blower be exposed, Biden dindunuffins protect the swamp.
Now if the truth about the origination of this faux impeachment came out about the spook IG then it is over and or all witnesses called. But Turtle doesn't want too much to come out.

They absolutely are. One ray of hope is they really, really like staying in power in office in DC. Even they have to see and understand the implication to their re-election chances if they do anything to Trump.
Most have to believe the best course of action is to do the right thing and just "survive" another 5 years of Trump and then the swamp can go back to being swampy.
