Did Trump even check the background issues with Matt for AG? I said this before, but I hope Trump spends more time on picking everyone. If I recall he went through a lot of people either quitting or being fired. Matt has too much baggage. Plus who resigns before he gets confirmed? This is plum stupid.

The only idea I can muster is to get Oz some more exposure for another potential run at Senate. Hes got decent stances now on a plethora of topics but he does seems to flip flop a lot (one being he was all for Affordable healthcare act 10 years ago and now he is all opposed).

At this juncture I think only Hegseth and Gabbard get real pushback.
Hegseth comes down to what kind of smoking gun his opposition has on him with this sexual assault allegation that didn't result in a charge. I tend to think he's getting through unless there is a Ray Rice caught on tape situation.
Gabbard is the one I have concern about because she has various connections to foreign powers and generally being a parrot for whatever propaganda RT.com is pushing this week. She'll have no votes with the Democrats and their Independents. I could see some GOP senators seeing her as an opportunist yanking a seat from a favorite son or daughter who has been in the party for a long time.
Other than that, I don't expect any silly shite.
