He is the Republican Hillary Clinton - a perfectly palatable, acceptable mainstream politician who’s been waiting his turn for President for a decade. Very hawkish on foreign policy and changes his economic policy views based on political headwinds. Populism is what wins national elections these days, and Rubio isn’t it. At least Vance had the courage to try to talk Trump out of this fiasco in Iran.

I understand you don’t trust or have confidence in him, but that’s a bad comparison.

Letting Iran have nukes would be a mistake.

Rubio would be an awful choice. He’s a neocon, swamp creature to the core.

He is absolutely great where he is but I don’t think he would be a good president

I tend to agree, he only has a spine, right now, because of Trump. Without Trump, i cant trust him to not go back to his little marco days in the senate and be wishy washy again.....

If Lucifer ever joins the Dems and runs for something THAT would be an apt comparison.

Hillary was anointed by Obama for 2016. Trump is very obviously preparing to do the same with Rubio.

You’re going to say that about pretty much anyone in Trump’s administration. Because they’re in Trump’s administration.

He's a neo-con darling and that's what's running the GOP right now. He'll likely get the nod and get drummed after miserable turnout.

So let me get this straight, Rubio is a bad choice bc he goes along with DJT's agenda, and Vance would be a good choice for not agreeing with the Iran excursion

But anyone else who didn't agree with DJT's agenda is also a bad choice?

If you sprinkle on enough quotes about RDS you make the gordian knot even more complex.

I think Trump will let the Republican nominees duke it out in the primary.

I’m hoping many people come to side with Vance.
I’d rather a dude beholden to big tech than big war.

Rubio not even ten years ago was arguing that the Iraq War wasn’t a mistake, and that NAFTA was good policy. He has no convictions or firmly held beliefs.

Regarding the “excursion”, no one who supports or has supported it will fare well in a general election. Trump’s goal of a multinational agreement with the Middle East is fantasy because Israel won’t rest until there’s wholesale regime change in Iran, and the Arab states don’t trust Israel over Gaza. It’s about as likely as me flying to the moon for breakfast in the morning. So as long as the goal is entirely unrealistic, this war will drag along without anyone offering any concessions.

To even say this shows you’ve been conditioned to be easily influenced and manipulated, you’ve allowed that to happen because you’re weak minded along with many others. STOP IT! Use your brain and go back to thinking independently.

Anyone who thinks Trump will allow Iran a single ounce of ability to have a nuke hasn’t been paying attention to Trump for the last decade. Or, you’re letting your weak mind bend to the intentional pressure of misinformation.

I find it insane to have to even explain this after everything we’ve already seen since 2015, but I read the ignorance of weak minded people on here every single day. It is maddening.

My goodness, ignore everything except for the end result.
