We’re sending in ground troops right now like I said we would have to and were planning for going back to when they cancelled training ops weeks ago.
So no, it’s not even a what if anymore, it was always a likelihood of what the administration was going to have to do if it was serious about accomplishing what they said they were doing.
I’m trying to put people on record as to what they’re willing to support to accomplish the goals they keep claiming they have for the engagement and very few of you will commit as to what their limits are which tells me you’re just waiting to be told what to support rather than having any clear thoughts of your own.

Just wondering how this board felt during the debates on this topic. We’ve known for years that Iran was financing terrorists, and debate around them building a nuclear bomb is not new.
Would you all feel the same had a dem won, and decided to bomb Iran? What if Biden had done as much?

Yes, lets compare apples to apples.
Retards in America protested against Trump. Nothing happened.
Iranians with legit grievances protested against their government and were gunned down.
But yeah, Iran is only a threat when they're attacked.

That’s not the case at all, because we don’t care who does the right action. Just fricking do it. If Trump ever actually committed a crime, then put him under the fricking jail. But he hasn’t even when the other side has terrorized him and tried to cook them up. We are not the same.

I mean, my question is fair considering Trump on several occasions during the election stated that Kamala would go to war with Iran. He was very explicit. And bombing Iran was highly unpopular before it actually happened, even among the MAGA base.
But to be clear, you are saying if Biden would have started a war with Iran, you would have supported it. Got it, and appreciate your response.

OMB!
Not sure how you came to this.
I was far from a Biden supporter and would not have supporter him starting a war. Same as I do not support Trump in this endeavor. It had nothing to do with Trump specifically and everything to do with not wanting the US to play “world police” which is a term Trump used during the election when claiming Kamala would bomb Iran.

No, I am well aware that the Mullahs are bad. I criticize Trump for:
1. Setting unclear goals to start a conflict
2. Failing to secure shipping
3. Failing to allocate proper resources to actually deliver the promised results
Overthrowing the IRGC and Mullahs would probably be a good thing, but I don’t think what we’re doing currently will succeed in that while the entire gulf region burns and the economic shockwaves reverberate globally.

With Rubio, we extracted Maduro. One night is all it took. Now the successor is working with us, even though she was part of the Maduro regime. Their oil is coming to US refineries not China. Not Cuba.
And Rubio solved the Panama Canal problem in about 36 hours.
