I'm not defending anyone. I'm simply trying to start a conversation on how this board is reacting to two different threads.

This is nowhere close to accurate. There is a history of this type of activity/tactics on the Dem side with things like this for one. That goes a long way to establishing suspicion in the Moore story right off the bat.

People are still jumping to opposite conclusions which don't align with any system of values other than partisanship

No you're not. But that's ok. But be honest about what you are doing. You are trying to point out what you think is hypocrisy. It's not, of course, but you think it is, and are dang well going to point it out.

I don't know anything about the Louis CK thing, so I can't comment on it.
I do know that the timing of the Moore thing is, to say the least, suspect. Especially when there were numerous opportunities to take him down for it when he was a state legislator and judge.
If he were trailing by a substantial amount in the polls, the likelihood that this allegation would've ever seen the light of day is slim to none. And you know it.
