Same can be said to MAGA about it the traditional GOP and independent votes

MAGA isn't a problem, Trump is.

The message is fine, the messenger was not. Trump was rejected, not MAGA or whatever the frick that is today.

As trump fades, these people will resort to the 2014 version of themselves again and jump on board with defeating Democrats, not Republicans.

They are all pussies. If Trump starts his own party he would get so many votes the Democrats would still have to cheat.

True. As a Trump voter in 2016 and 2020, I agree.

There’s no self discipline from Trump since he left the White House. Nearly every move he’s made has hurt his chances of winning again. Hate to see it, but it is what it is. Desantis is a solid alternative.

Desantis will beat Biden even with the ballot harvesting. He checks all of the boxes.

Only if the establishment wants him. For that…he has to play ball.

I've said it all along. Considering the best interest of the country and its current societal condition, Trump is by far the best choice. However, he appears to be unelectable (Karen still hates him). Desantis is more electable.

He still isn’t running in 2024.

2028 is his year.

If Desantis is the nominee, Democrats will go for a black gay woman most likely. They'll need to attract all the crazies to beat him.

Ron is a man, he handles dissent 10x better than tDonald.

He should be, but Trump is going to be Trump… he’s loyalty is to one thing and one thing alone: his ego. If he can’t have what he wants, he’s going to burn it all down.

I was a YUUUUUUGE Trump supporter until the last month or so. He needs to step back. We’re going to lose 2024 resoundingly if he doesn’t.

thing is, in 2 years Donald will have little support. You'll watch the sheep jump off that train as soon as a real leader shows up.

…but by that time the damage will have been done. He’ll either form his own party (if rumors are true) and divide conservatives or he’s going to irreparably piss off women and independents that they’ll refuse to vote for the Republican.

He’s lost the ability to bring enough voters under the tent to get a victory in 2024. Dems will take over full control.

I tend to agree. I think he’s going to let trump fizzle and let the democrat led disaster of economy heal up some before he runs.

Probably, then they'll scream "See, it wasn't just trump."

They're no different than the left wing coalitions.

I've always appreciated your input, I know your peers often see things differently.

If Desantis were to win the nomination it would be stupid for MAGA not to support him. His policies are the closest to MAGA of anyone not named Trump.

Trump is 75. He won’t be around forever you gotta have someone to carry the torch going forward. Right now Desantis is that person based on the available options

I agree, and to your point below, I’m very familiar with left wing ideologues.

Guess Trump will call the new Party Ultra-MAGA, and the Republicans can be MAGA-Lite.
