Trump is an egomaniac. His message is undisciplined and he continuously shoots himself in the foot. It is hard to get past his terrible hires/appointments and people he let influence his decisions.

Desantis is a better communicator and does a better job of providing facts to make the media look dumb instead of just calling them names. I don’t want 80 year old presidents. Go run your new media empire and ride off into the sunset.

Absolutely spot on. Trump's stand up act isn't going to work this time. The country is on the verge of a historical collapse and people don't want to hear his ego inflating middle school shite talking. If Trump swallowed his pride for once and threw his full support behind DeSantis, I think the support would be so overwhelming that even with Democrats cheating they wouldn't be able to overcome it without completely blowing the whole thing up

Ah yes. Appealing to the moderates. This strategy worked out so well with McCain and Romney we should try it again.

You don’t have to directly appeal to them, but if you lose the middle like Trump did you will get the same results McCain and Romney did. Another loss. The middle picks on who they think will be be the better leader, and that is Desantis.

Simple question we all should be asking ourselves . Would Desantis govern the way he governs if Trump never came along ? Every politician is in the pockets of someone it’s the reality of politics unfortunately in America . Who is that someone ? Trump made his billions and I think that’s why he was so effective in his presidency. He owed no one !

Republicans have this habit of getting older people to run whereas the last two Democrats were elected in their mid to early 40s . Remember that Trump will be on the verge of 80 if he runs in 24 and is elected (78). No matter who you are President is a tough job and it ages you. Might be better to find a younger person for the long run. Unless, of course, Trump is a day walking vampire.

What is his rush to run in 2024?

Because in a lot of people's minds he/DeSantis is the best candidate.

Odds are Trump will be dead in 8 years. Just the odds. Trump will be 77 or 78 if he runs and wins.

If he does not run now and Trump does win in 2024. There will not be a Republican elected in 2028. 4 more years of Trump would destroy the party. We need him to run now.

What is his rush to run in 2024? It seems to me it would be better for him to wait until 2028 for multiple reasons. More time to be with his kids while they grow up. Less stress on his wife while she recovers from her cancer treatment. Gain more on the job experience. He will still only be 49.

Not to mention it is only going to fracture his support by taking on Trump head on. He should ask Ted Cruz how that works out.

Why is he pushing for the presidency now?

Or are the globalists funding him simply to take Trump out?

because frickign trump, the one many of yall want will be fricking 78. yea lets not elect the 43 year old so we can elect the fricking babbling old man....since that worked out so well this time.

im sorry but if you beleive we should elect anyone over 75 ever to anything......well then you really need to step back and reexamine things.

STOP ELECTING OLD frickS!!!!!

DeSantis is the way forward. We must let go of Trump.

Looking back, Trump screwed up some things and he hasn't learned. I say this as a Trump voter and supporter.

And the more time passes the more I have a jaundiced eye towards Trump. He just doesn't make good personnel decisions at all. He hasn't helped out any J6 protesters that put their asses on the line for him and this country.

Again, I like Trump. I miss him. But he's not the answer going forward.

SFP dont you love when the poor construction workers with their HS dipploma call us morons because dont live in a bubble with the rest of our redneck friends?

if you think a 78 year old trump is a better candidate then a 45 year old DeSantis or that their is no middle...or that their are true conservatives/america first libertarians that dont want the semi liberal trump running or that you cant see the failures of trumps first term.....well then the likes of SFP and myself are not the morons....and you need to look in the mirror.

frick trump and frick anyone that is a trump loyaltist and doesnt have principles.

wanna know what kind of person trump is and what kind of ego he has.....

go look at his attack of Thomas Massie when he wanted his covid spending bill passed. the bill that was the largest non budgetted spending bill in the history of the world at the time. He chastized Massie for....wait for it...........wanting to follow the constitution. frick that.

So many of yall bitch about Fauci....who kept him? who listened to him? who gave him a platform?

who destroyed our economy with the bullshite covid response?

sure he was amazing on foreign policy and did ok on cutting red tape. He gave us roughly 3 great economic years but if you are objective in the end he left the country a broken economic mess.

he had both houses of congress his first 2 years and still managed to not get shite done.

yea that brent kavanaugh is really conservative. killer appointment....killer

If you want trump....fine, just admit you enjoy being a troll rather than making America great again.

he is a toxic egomanic, last thing we need in DC as we have tons of those already.

people need to stop with the cult of personality. its dumb and dangerous.
