I think he has done as good a job as one could in remaining apolitical through out his appointment. This wish to privately testify, if true, would be a continuation of that, in my opinion. granted, the same folks that cant get over the "17 angry dems" are the same ones that will misconstrue this into some type of coverup.

It was 13... because, ya know, there is proof of 13 of the "investigators" on Mueller's team having donated to Democrat campaigns.

And there's no freaking way you just claimed Mueller was/is "apolitical" with a straight face and clear conscience.

His scope was clearly more than just "Did Team Trump Collude?" because he indicted over a dozen Russians and 3 companies for supposedly "conspiracy to interfere with our election", and yet he completely ignored the fact that Chris Steele, with 30+ pages of rumors supplied to him by Russians, also clearly conspired to interfere with our election.

If you can't acknowledge the blatantly obvious one-sided approach and results of this SC and it's investigation, then you're either a complete moron or you're being willfully dishonest.

Why?

:Democrat Congressman walking out of room after hearing:

Reporter: Congressman, what can you tell us about what you just heard behind closed doors from Robert Mueller?

DC: Well, much of what we were told has to remain behind closed doors, however, I can say that I am blown away, and, I think...I think most rational thinking Americans....Americans that are willing to open up to the truth...those people...would be taken aback by what we just heard about the what really went on in the Trump campaign

Reporter: Was it that bad? Was there any truth that Mueller found legitimate obstruction charges, but, declined to call it obstruction basis he could not indict a sitting President?

DC: After hearing what we heard today, it may be in our best interest to get behind Congressman Nadler and support necessary measures needed to hold Mr. Trump accountable. It's the sensible thing to do.

Everything these a-holes can do to keep a cloud of uncertainty going for their mouth breather followers

So, why do you think Mueller is so reluctant to testify PUBLICLY?

He will have to answer questions like....

"Mr Mueller are you aware that Joseph Mifsud, whom you identified in your report as a agent of Russia, was actually a western intelligence asset?

Did the CIA identify him as a Russian agent? Who specifically told you he was anything other than Italian intelligence?

He can’t dictate what he can or can’t do.

If the Dems take it private then they show everyone they are full of shite.

He won’t testify publicly, as the Dems know he can’t deliver the bombs required to justify impeachment. That’s all there it to it, though of course he doesn’t want to face ‘mean’ questions from Republicans publicly/on tape either.

He won’t help them any longer, so he knows he will be vilified if he has to talk publicly. They know it too.

There is no grandstanding when it's in private. No cameras and potential voters to pander to. His questioning will be a hell of a lot less contentious. Smart move if you don't want the drama

True and good point, but there would still be good American Republicans in a secret hearing that would debunk any filthy shite spewing out of the lying pie holes of the unhinged mentally ill prog filth whoring dim traitors on the committee.

Because he knows the report is a nothing burger and if the interview is in private the Dems and their fake news outlets can leak unsubstantiated claims that they make up.

...it's called not having what's left of his reputation skewered by Republicans, in this shite show of his own doing.

Id like to see or hear one straightforward clarification made:

Mr. Mueller, regarding all redacted or classified information currently being sought by Democrats....was every single bit of that information previously considered by you and your team, in full and without exception, in the findings of your report?

Dems dont mind the perception that this is some sort of info yet to be considered. That's the feeling Im getting.

I was trying to be diplomatic about it, but yes, it is indeed a fact.

Agreed. Only problem is there are far more outlets drooling to air Dem soundbites

I know why he can’t and why the Dems don’t want him to.

I just hope the Senate asks him in and they do it publicly.

This.

He's got nothing for them and he knows it.
