No link. I'm listening to the talk-show host Doc Washburn, who is terrific. Thanks to RazorBroncs for telling me about him.
Now, I have an idea or two as to why Mueller doesn't want to testify publicly regarding the findings of his investigation. But this isn't all about me, ladies and germs.
So, why do you think Mueller is so reluctant to testify PUBLICLY?

How do we know he even wants to testify in private? Because I doubt it. Mueller justs wants to fade into the background.

I think he has done as good a job as one could in remaining apolitical through out his appointment. This wish to privately testify, if true, would be a continuation of that, in my opinion. granted, the same folks that cant get over the "17 angry dems" are the same ones that will misconstrue this into some type of coverup.

Two hearings could make sense: one private in which only subject matter not open to the public can be addressed; the other a public hearing covering unclassified matters within the investigation/report.

Could be a bunch of crappy reasons. One being that the probaby killers in congress can screech about how his testimony proves that Trump should be impeached and or indicted. It wouldn't matter what he said. They could insinuate he said anything they wanted!

only person who was bringing his name up was the politician. he wasnt giving interviews. they werent leaking. they apparently werent witch hunting, or they were just bad at it, despite their unfettered power and bias. so i stand by my statement: he did as good a job remaining apolitical as one could, given the circumstances.
He led the investigation and wrote a report, and I would assume, that probably speaks for everything that there is worth saying on the matter. bringing him in to testify is just political theater and contrary to the way he conducted himself through out.
Id be very surprised if we ever hear him speak about it publicly.
