The Mexican narco-government also set up a system to avoid remittance taxes earlier this year. There are just thousands of ways to avoid detection when ‘wiring’ funds these days, and the illegal alien/foreign born ‘labor ballads’ are not as dumb at this as many assume.

I certainly wouldn’t argue with withdrawing all of our funds/spies/NGO types from these places. “Biden” probably surrendered Afghanistan just to maximize how many they could fly over, and not just in the ‘evacuation’ disaster.

We’ve staged multiple coups in Pakistan running back decades, I think on the order of a half dozen or so. It’s a CIA-vassal state of money, drugs, weapons etc.

It is tremendously immoral to support bringing populations of groups such as Somali’s or Afghans to the US, or Europe. The costs are enormous, both in financial and violent criminal act metrics.
Afghans are actually worse, from all that I have read, in terms of their propensity/ability to assimilate vs. all others though. I believe they have the absolute highest rate of believe in sharia law of any population on earth (over 99%).
Add, the SIV program was not reviewed or changed by congress this year, so the bureaucrats running it operationally just have continued to process visa requests by those here. These aren’t political appointees. And plenty of Republicans in addition to every Democrat (not just those above but also folks like John Cornyn) have praised/supported this seditious idiocy.

If we let egomaniacs like Bill Gates or even Elon Musk do terraforming crap here they will mess it up big time. Latter wants to block sunlight with a big network of solar/orbiting data centers.

Europe must be buying oil from offshore Guyana which is a perfect fit for Europe's refineries. 50% was going to Chevron in Richmond, CA, when production first began, the balance to Baton Rouge. Exxon and Chevron are two of the three partners in it.
Isn’t Chevron in Richmond CA closing? That’s been the hot rumor since the commiecrats in CA made them pay $500 million. I expect Chevron to exit the California market, they have little interest in operating this moving forward (just my two cents). That oil will go elsewhere, and ideally we’ll start refining a lot more in Louisiana courtesy of Nuevo Venezuela over the next decade.

Yep, it’s well past time to stop playing paddy cake with the idiots in our own hemisphere, imho. Monroe Doctrine, or something like that. Should also overthrow Havana, finally.
Sure, but keep in mind Jon Karl is a bullshite propagandist liar.

It could be kinda cool with a self-driving car à la Vegas plans.

That’s the thing, there’s no indication the others are going to vacate the race to help Cuomo in a H2H at this point.
Yeah that’s the other problem I can’t reconcile. Even if entirely screwed up on the programming they got high enough to advance throttles anyway/check flaps and go around, but instead the RAT deployed with full loss of electric etc.
It just doesn’t make sense, and I should stop acting like I can make it otherwise. Thx.

It’s my top suspect concern as well, yet I think this is misunderstood. The tanks are ‘scooped’ from the bottom to be fed to the fuel system/engines, and there are filters involved also so water at the top would not easily be a factor. The big center tank is used initially and while it can have its own ‘weather’ system internally as it empties it is unlikely to have had that much water to have caused a problem there.
To my understanding thus far, it is more likely the engines/flight computer were programmed in error for the altitude as to when they would ‘roll back’ take off power, and could be combined with an incorrect ‘flaps 1’ setting (instead of 5 or 10). The 787 wouldn’t let them ‘not deploy flaps’ at all without intentionally doing so, but programming the takeoff incorrectly is a possibility.
The Indian officials are having the GenX engines on other planes checked so I suspect they are in ‘cover up’ mode partially but realistically the crew probably made a series of errors that resulted in the crash, again just my opinion.

I don’t think the mullah’s make it through the week.
Their foreign minister just had to cancel a CNN appearance within the hour, and they cancelled funerals for Tuesday for ‘officials’ killed since Friday. Traffic jam leaving Tehran right now, car bombs (Israeli’s deny they did it).
Good times.

Well, I don’t know but maybe it did have a longer-than-planned takeoff (and theoretically the flaps could have been extended at an improper/insufficient amount, though not in extended, but that doesn’t explain the takeoff roll). Still, that’s not dispositive of any issue as to the crash, as it then ascended to 600+ feet before just…running out of power. This lever also is not just ‘right next to’ the landing gear;

And again, speculation aside it did take off and get to 600 feet, it’s implausible the flaps retraction would have caused the ram air turbines to deploy, for which there is also photographic/audio evidence.
They recovered at least one of the black boxes, so all this debate will become moot when the Indians reveal the data. The 787 saves data down to the ohms drawn from each seat’s USB port. This won’t be as complicated a debate as many now think it is. It’s almost impossible to configure the 787 for takeoff completely wrong, or then accidentally yank the flaps/engines. Contrarily, the pilots can’t really do much without thrust, on a plane carrying fuel/pax for a 10 hour flight.

This photo. Can’t tell the angle, but the flaps were deployed, clearly.

Cat Steve is a bit of an idiot though, as he’s shown in the past. The flaps on the wing that were photographed after the crash were still extended. And the RAT’s were deployed. Highly unlikely the flaps were retracted and that caused the sudden loss of power to retract the landing gear (it stopped getting retracted when power was lost).
And union members, of course.
