If Trump perceived it that way, it says a lot about Trump and not Massie.
It still doesn't directly address why so many of Massie's constituents pulled a major 180 in 1.5 years, unless they had some views on the Epstein files (which I don't think existed on any scale)

I have two workers. One talks a lot about efficiency and optimization. He does nothing.
He is replaced by a guy who doesn’t talk about efficiency and optimization at all. He also does nothing.
