Trump didn’t change on this though. And I’m not sure exactly who you would define as “MAGA” but the majority of people that voted for Trump are not isolationists.

That would take decades. It's not an easy thing. Just look at North Korea, who has nukes. They're aligned with the same people Iran is, too (China, Russia), so it's not like we can expect better help in development from the outside.
