That's according to a presentation at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill that has gone viral.
Using one's right hand as the primary mode of grappling objects "makes life easier" and gives one more "opportunity" and "advantage," according to the presentation.
It also said being right-handed apparently makes one have a sounder "sense of belonging" in the world. The lecture took place Monday, Newsweek reported. It has garnered more than 2,600 "likes" on a popular Twitter account.

As someone that is left handed, I’ve never considered it a disadvantage. Never even thought about it in those regards. It’s the dumbest shite I’ve ever heard and I thought it was going to be a satire article. As a matter of fact, I like being left handed because it’s another thing that separates me from the crowd.

Make it harder for right handed people to do things, like get into a college or be hired for a position a lefty is applying for. Even though your handedness (like your race) in no way prevents you from obtaining anything.

My heart goes out to all those black, dwarf, transgender women who also have the unfortunate disability to be left handed.
