I’m not surprised by this. I will never understand Texan Republicans. Two of the biggest GOP donors in Texas (The Wilkes brothers) sold their fracking company Frac Tech to the Chinese several years ago.

I figured if anyone tried these shenanigans in a Texas town the local boys would take care of the betrayer.

The Japanese were commies?

I didn’t think so.

Leave it to you to defend the CCP.

Would you support limiting any foreign adversaries (for instance, your beloved trading partner, the CCP) ability to own us property in close proximity to sensitive us tech, infrastructure or military installations?

How much land does the US own in China? Will they allow me to go buy 1000 acres of critical farmland?

People that think like you do about this will be our country’s downfall.

130,000 acres is a lot of land. Ten times the size of Palo Duro Canyon State Park.

I firmly believe policing this stuff leads to one of the slipperiest of slopes. I think its bad for the Chinese to buy so much US property, but when we start policing this stuff it gets out of control

Let it. We need some kind of rules to guard ourselves, and we can take certain situations one by one. Otherwise we are just letting ourselves being taken advantage of by people whose countries wouldn't extend the same rights to Americans.

We keep letting people destroy us from within because we are afraid to do anything about it.

Unfortunately, they got this covered via the anchor baby loophole. Where they'll just use one of those that grew up commie in chyna with American papers.

Iirc TX was looking to put a law in place against this. I'm sure the GOPe leaders of the TX decided to go after the AG instead...because thats more important.

No. Whores are whores. Real men own a lot of land and wouldn't sell it to their neighbors, much less a chinaman.

They can’t take the land to China with them.

If we went to war, owning land in the US would be of no benefit to them.

Another illegal alien village like the one north east of Houston ?

Is it a chynese village?

I wouldn't be surprised if they are buying up these lands to create cynese villages/towns/cities. Then when they decide it's time to not just win via the "no shots taken" route, they just activate whatever chynese "militia" they have been building on these lands. Bring them in via there TX border lands they bought, and why they wanted that spot in North Dakota. I'll even add the FL gulf spot they wanted to bring them in that way too.

Thanks to this "diversity is our strength" push they are taking advantage of being able to hide the bad within the good. Then we are the bad people for rounding people up. The future of this nation is royally fricked under Dem/GOPe rule. Thanks white guilt boomers.

We can reclaim the land by force whenever we feel like it

They are ultimately squatting and if the situation called for it they would be excised

I get that but doesn't take away what they have developed up that point. A point to many in "power" will not be willing/wanting to take. This mindset of just taking it is our outdated idea of how things would actually be. Just like how some people were surprised that Americans would bend a knee so hard to covid, but some of us weren't surprised at all as we've been watching the American people loss that strength and pride.

I remember a thread on here about how Chyna couldn't attack our homeland coasts. What I learned from that is they will need to find other ways, which is via alliances with our bordering nations. Which they are doing in Canada, MX and even islands in the Caribbean. Why controlling the Panama Canal is crucial for them. Now they take advantage of this border alliances and will build on the border and move people in to their big land acquisitions.

Yeah yeah yeah I know ... conspiracy theory alert...but saying it's not feasible or anything to be worried about is foolish.

So do any Texans know of they can actually do anything about this or do the chynese keep winning by hiding their intent until they get what they want?...the new "American Way".

The Texan businessman has since been accused by one of his former ranch managers of cornering him in his office and punching him in the head

A Texan ranch manager allowed a businessman to corner him and punch him in the head, and didn't put slick suit douche on his arse?

Ranch manager must not have worked his way to the top, because if he'd have started off mucking stalls and stacking feed, that "businessman" never would've even dreamed about taking a swing.

I don't understand why people behave in such cowardly ways. I'm no badass by any means but I am a big dude who doesn't care for bullshite and threats, and if somebody tries cornering me they're gonna wake up on the floor.

It’s the Chicoms who should be clamoring to reverse the sale. We should sell them more. That’s more of their resources under our control. If things heat up between us we can confiscate that land and still hold their money, which is the summation of much work and GDP. It would be like getting them to work for us for free.
