I get your point but I'm just talking about the stupidity of it all. If the Wagner Group is moving in I have to think China is flipping the bill and it's just a money making move by Russian MIC. Those poor dudes.

But not Iran, or Assad in Syria.

If they have support from Brazil and or Colombia going to be nearly impossible to blockade them. The land is very defensible from what I've been told. We might be able to Gaza their citizens with mass weapons from air, but if we try to land troops it will be a blood bath.

None of that has anything to do with how laughable it is to think Russia couldnt help their neighbors cause they’re busy in Ukraine and dont have logistics, manpower, or leadership to handle their neighbors.
But they’re gonna come over here and… do…what, exactly?

Russia is VERY GOOD at land warfare.
They never have been. The British beat them in Crimea in a war notable for Russian incompetence (and British), Napoleon beat them at Austerlitz even though outnumbered 90,000 to 68,000, they were often fought to a standstill by the incompetent Ottoman Empire, Hitler beat the ever-loving shite out of them until the winter did them in, and now the Ukrainians are handling them. Oh yeah, the Japanese absolutely raped them on land and at sea in the early 20th century. The Russian military history is one of constant losing and letting their geography and climate beat their enemies.

The blue pilled reason we are being aggressive with Venezuela right now is due to drug trafficking. LOL.
The red pilled reason is Venezuela is selling oil to China and settling the trade in Chinese Yuan.
It's one thing to undercut the dollar in Asian markets but it's a totally different animal to undercut the dollar in American (north and south) markets.

No it wouldn’t. The US would roll them up the way they rolled up Iraqi forces in the Gulf Wars. Two days of fighting would see the entire army surrendering and fleeing.

Maduro will be taken out by those close to him before Russia gets involved.

Make it very expensive for the USA. We are bleeding out being the world's police and faith in the US dollar is plummeting world wide as China begins to back its dollar with gold.

Lol. Hilarious, would be more like Vietnam mixed with Dday.

Are they Very Good at it though? Recent events would say otherwise

Look, Russia is VERY GOOD at land warfare. But this Venezuelan conflict is not really going to be that for the U.S. It's going to be 10% land, 40% air and 50% sea if I had to guess. We dominate the air and sea.
And we're stupid as frick if we do that.
Some things never change... still feeding our kids (and others) to the "defense" industry.

This is the correct answer. Russia's 3 best weapons have always been distance, winter, and bodies. If you look at their military history against technological peers, they usually win, but suffer staggeringly disproportionate casualties. Since the fall of the Soviet Union, they don't have the bodies for meat wave tactics anymore. Plus, they're heavily artillery dependent. Without air superiority, those artillery pieces wouldn't last long.

Wagner? They helped Africa evacuate the French from their neo colonies and then are helping to defeat the Nato bankster army in Ukraine mad at Russia for ruining their resource theft of Africa.

Immediately thought of this...

How long in staging this attack do you think? What countries allow us on their soil? What happens in Venezuela during this time? I agree the war would be quick but you have to stage everything before hand.
Maybe a captured Russian drone would be smarter?
Posted on 10/30/25 at 2:14 pm to SmogkDeizKnutz
Russia is still using trench warfare tactics, apparently
Posted on 10/30/25 at 2:16 pm to BlackPawnMartyr
No it wouldn't be. First we wouldn't land troops without first having complete control of the air and extremely softening up any positions at the points of landing. Second, most of the so called militia he has are extremely unmotivated and basically forced to be there. They would surrender fairly quickly once the bullets started flying. Finally, none of this matters at all because there is an absolute chance of 0 we are going to war with Venezuela.
