Clinton never really did anything to make anyone want to shoot him. Hell, he wouldn’t even be able to run as a Democrat in today’s landscape and Trump is further to the left than him on several fronts.

Sure I mean every president to be to the right or to the left of another president on one or two issues.
Simply the time in history and other variables in the world and the country can change that.
But this subject, thread and the attempt, isn't about the person sitting in office it's about how one party of a particular political ideology pushes nut jobs or its fringe to violence
If you were of average intelligence you should be able to figure that out for yourself
The simple truth of the matter in America historically, whether it be anarchists Cholcaz , (McKinley)or Oswald who was a communistaccording to the CIA Liberalism in its current form appeals to emotionally unstable types
