He's a member of an all-white beach club in Rhode Island.
When confronted by a reporter in a parking lot about his hypocrisy, Whitehouse's answer was that all white clubs are "a long tradition" in Rhode island.

Well it’s a long standing idea that like women , blacks feel that what is mine is mine and what is yours is mine to . That said we should all be free to associate without bs narratives driving how we do it. I wouldn’t want a snooty so I boy at my bbq and I’m sure uptowners wouldn’t want me at their functions.
