I can’t tell you how, but I think we’ll have more voices than one at some point," Romney told The Desert News. The only voice "his party" has ever had is money. It's been a party that runs on defense pork and hasn't even had the guts to give lip service to the social issues they ran on.

Trump was inevitable and Romney is one of the biggest reasons he got elected in the first place.

Honestly l, if anything Trump is a moderate in the MAGA movement. If these clowns believe it's all about Trump, they are severely mistaken. MAGA and America 1st is here to stay. Trump is a man in his late 70s, he won't be around forever. But MAGA will continue on.

He has a way of making the narrative in the link mostly about himself.

What was the guiding principle of “his party” before Trump? What is it now?

There was no other choice at the time, but I am ashamed of having voted for this worthless POS. Should have just stayed home.

This dude’s just now realizing that shite changes over time, especially from decade to decade? He probably has a flip phone with 100 minutes per month plan.

In spite of Mitten’s begrudging admission, these people are so completely out of touch and disconnected from the base.

Trump is not a threat to democracy.

He’s a threat to them.

More proof that politicians only care about being re-elected. Nothing else.

Reek made his bed, he should be made to sleep in it. Too late for him….I hope.

The poster child of everything wrong in DC thinks it's HIS party.

Hey Wrongney - It's OUR party and you weren't invited.

Great question and one I’ve tried asking myself.

Exactly what did the GOP of Bush, Cheney, McCain, Romney ever deliver for America over all these years?

They certainly benefited but how exactly did regular Americans benefit?

I think it’s a very reasonable question.

The Republican donor base is completely disconnected from their voting base and have been for years. Only now are people finally starting to recognize that.

You mean the party that gets its arse handed to it by the opposition while bowing to their agenda?
