Why no talk of this? Millions of Americans are in this situation. Is the CDC so obsessed with the vaccine that they can't write a sentence or two in their recommendations for this large group of people?

The CDC assumes that you know: if you had Covid exposure, you've been vaccinated, regardless of whether you still have antibodies in your system, or not.

The duration and robustness of immunity to SARS-CoV-2 remains under investigation. Among other human coronaviruses, reinfection appears to occur variably over time after onset of infection. (19,30) However, for SARS-CoV-2, reinfection appears to be uncommon during the initial 90 days after symptom onset of the preceding infection (Annex: Retesting and Quarantine of Adults Recovered from Laboratory-diagnosed SARS-CoV-2 Infection with Subsequent Re-Exposure). Thus, for adults recovered from SARS-CoV-2 infection, a positive SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR result without new symptoms during the 90 days after illness onset more likely represents persistent shedding of viral RNA than reinfection.

CDC

There are a bunch of articles regarding your question. Generally, people should have strong antibodies for 60-90 days following infection. The amount of antibodies each person has is different and it declines over time.

I'm firmly of the belief my wife and her mother both had it in mid-January 2020 (all the symptoms, tested for the flu but it wasn't the flu, etc). If I'm right, in taking care of my wife for the week she was sick then there's pretty much no way I didn't catch it (never had the first symptom).

They don't really have a plan for those of us outside their Stepford virology plan.

A random group of people in NYC were tested for antibodies and about 40% tested positive back in late summer.

They know the amount of false positives are insane and its easier to just dish out shots than it is to give a bunch of antibody tests

They want you to take dr. fauci’s load anyway, because the line is that natural immunity doesn’t last long and you can catch it again. Which begs the question about what’s the point of a vaccine then since it ultimately is just a facsimile of you catching it? Except naturally immunity is the Chad version because your body is programmed to recognize and target multiple parts of the virus instead of just the spike protein alone.

That’s how you know this is more political than health driven.

The focus is forcing people to take the shot, not immunity from the virus.

Here is a link to an article that states lasting immunity after Covid 19 recovery. NIH LINK

“Several months ago, our studies showed that natural infection induced a strong response, and this study now shows that the responses last,” Weiskopf says. “We are hopeful that a similar pattern of responses lasting over time will also emerge for the vaccine-induced responses.”

0.4% mortality.

Maybe less.

And if you consider only reasonably healthy people that aren't very obese or very old, it's probably 0.004% mortality.

There really isn’t much of a threat of getting it again. You hardly hear stories like that in the news. If getting it again and it being a serious case the second time was a real threat I assure you the media would be screaming about that daily but they aren’t

I trust my natural antibodies from getting it enough to not worry about getting the vaccine

Same. And trust me, it was no false positive. But I'm frankly glad I got it over with. Not getting a vaccine, not need to
