Recession was always inevitable. Every boom is followed by a brief contraction. It probably would have happened in 2020 if not for coronavirus and the fake money economy, but this market expansion was overdue to come crashing down.

Can you imagine if Biden had managed to give away 3.5 trillion dollars that "didn't cost a nickel". It's already bad enough as it is; we'd be in double digit inflation.

There was discussion by the Fed chairman saying that it appears that no matter what the Fed does…. it won’t stop the coming recession.

Anyone who hasn't seen this since at least the end of January either hasn't been paying attention or is a party hack.

We've got at least a year of absolute shite ahead of us.

Question: If a recession is headed our way…. how “recession proof” is your job? Will your employment be safe …or …will you likely be let go?

My job is safe.

On the bright side Georgia is about to vote in a fat, buck toothed ignorant liberal who will ruin that state faster than water over Niagara falls

My job is pretty safe. It would take something wild for me to lose it, I am a superintendent for a very big construction company with two supers retiring next year.

It just depends on the recession and this could be worse than 2008. But the right individual in the wrong place can make all the difference.

It turns out when you gather a bunch of mentally ill individuals together to make decisions that shite hits the fan quickly and in high volume. Who would have thunk it?!?

What are people doing now to be ready for the coming recession? Are they paying off debt, trying to save money, selling off things, etc? If lots of folks lose their jobs there will be lots of foreclosures, losing cars they are making payments on, spending savings, not being able to pay for insurance, etc.

Oh yeah, Brandon wants to pay off some student loans and send tons of baby formula to our southern border to illegal aliens.

Democrats…. Independents… republicans …that voted for sleepy Joe…. Will you be ready for the coming shitstorm that you’ve caused?

I knew a recession was coming when Biden was elected. There was always going to be a balancing out period for the economy. Trump couldn't keep it that hot forever. Once Biden was elected* in knew he wouldn't be able to even keep the train on the tracks, and I figured he was going to take the whole railway with him. If we're being honest, the recession is here, all that's left is for it to be declared, and yes, I do fear a full blown depression. This admin hasn't pressed the right button since it started. The only question is how long is the depression going to last, and how much of the world is it going to suck in with it. I do mortgages. While my job is safe, my income isn't. I'm already looking for a secondary job so I can try to pay everything off that I can before things get really bad.

All of this because Trump was shutting down their $ from the taxpayers.

Best prep for a depression.

Thankfully our house and vehicles are paid off, and I can minimize our bills down even more if I have to.

I’m an airline pilot and airlines are notorious for furloughing pilots when there’s an economic downturn.

I guess we’re all gonna be eating a lot less than we’re used to. Oh well, I’m 5’11” and 195 lbs, but I guess losing 30-40 pounds might be good for my health.

One daughter just got told she's getting laid off.

Other daughter can't find a job, and she doesn't want a service job. She does have a brain injury and can't handle crowds as noises.

She went to college got a degree in statistics and a Masters in Data analytics, and can't find a job.

She worked hard so she could contribute to society and take care of herself. She's tempted to try to go on disability which is a shame.

She just needs an office job crunching numbers.

Woodrow Wilson is the worst we’ve ever had.

Biden will be right there with him at this rate.

In what scenario does this matter:

quote:

Have saved and payed off all debt

When you're doing this?

quote:

Just gotta hunt and gather for whatever I require to eat

People have become cannibals but at least the mortgage is paid!
