It’s not patriotic to deficit spend.

But instead of holding the people responsible for this accountable, you want to blame Eileen who processes retirement claims the FDA.

Trump approved deficit budgets each year he was in office and you clearly wanted him to keep his job. I just don’t get it.

I also have a hard time imagining any well run company having to rehire the same folks immediately post layoff cause they can't figure out someone is promoted....that's a whole new level of being a shitshow.

There's the hole in your logic.

After 5 decades of purposeful incompetence there is so much accumulated mismanaged unplanned do-nothings on the payroll it is hard to ID the potentially productive people within the mass of indolence.

And so the only way to proceed was fire and immediately rehire people? Sounds super efficient.

Better than continuing the same idiocy - but that is really the plan by the Democrap plan for destroying the American spirit. They want a dysfunctional overpaid gaggle of leeches who have no desire for anything other than a featherbed 'job' which provides them an excuse for not going out and being productive worker at a real job.

Those are the 'ballot markers' which Democrat campaign strategy relies on for their 'save democracy' idiocy.

I agree the current and previous administrations have been pretty poor stewards of it.

I don't know why I'm even looking for a reasonable response but what the hell.

This is a big ship that needs a course correction. I don't know if you've ever been on a boat or even seen a boat in Oklahoma, but the larger the course correction, the greater the chance you'll need to nudge it back in the other direction a short time later. It's just physics and a lot of uncontrolled variables.

If you don't understand inertia as it pertains to our federal government then I can't help you.

It’s just not that big a deal. The number of employees truly vital to some very serious national interest is a tiny percentage.

"businesses and entire industries have brainwashed their workers"

Which businesses and industries are these?

Unless you're talking about the Church of Scientology, I call bullshite. I know very few employees who do anything other than constantly whine and moan about the company they work for. Like, close to zero. They are as far away as possible from being brainwashed to overlook the flaws of the employer.

I'll ask again and be more specific this time.

If employers treating employees in a manner beneficial to employers but also in ways that might not prioritize employee's feelings and/or convenience is not a part of life, then what is it?
