Among the 82% of voters who say they are certain now how they will vote in the presidential election, Trump holds a slight 51% to 49% lead.

Yeah it's silly, but I can see Biden pulling a narrow pop vote victory just like Hill did. NY and Cali have such a massive population of nuts that they help this number.

I still doubt it, but I can see it happening again. I kind of hope it does, because I love watching the melt and drinking the tears with a side of cheese

This is because they are asking "likely voters" not the democrat favoring "registered voters" or "adults."

I thought Nate Silver's thing on the pop vote yesterday was very interesting. No idea if accurate, but basically any close pop vote (Biden wins by a point or two) = Trump win

That's why popular vote swings for Democrats are meaningless IMO. Most of that comes from LA and NYC, many of which are illegal.

Most “loon” states aren’t that huge.

NY and CA are the big exceptions and even then NY is getting hollowed out due to DeBlasio fricking NYC.

I would say anything within 3% of a popular vote advantage for Biden will ultimately be a Trump victory. Most of these states come from NY, CA, and IL. A lot of battleground polls have Trump ahead at the moment. If that holds, Trump will walk into a second term.

Should.

But the general feeling is that Dems will contest the election, even if not close, to attempt to delegitimize Trump.

I don’t see how the current narrative of Trump having 400+ EVs on eledtion night then losing holds up though. A 130+ EV swing means about 3-4 states minimum, possibly more, and many of those states are solidly Republican.

There is a reason Creepy Joe is being flushed out of his basement. If you want confirmation that his internals are bad, just look at the states he is visiting.

I give another 3-5 points now to Trump in any poll. If it is tied, it is more like +4 to Trump.

Rasmussen is probably the best at this stuff too.

Just look at the MSM narrative. If Biden's internals looked great, we wouldn't be hearing he and his minions suddenly coming out for the first time in three months and blaming riots on Trump and his supporters. We also would not be hearing about upcoming Election Day results with counting of late mail-in ballots.

Rasmussen was off on 2016 election night by over six points
They had Trump with 52% nationally so like Hannity at the buffet they are always a little heavy.
