So you're under such strict lockdowns and rules, and your concern is the flock camera? Like, the only thing between you and whatever it is you need to do, is that license plate reader? Cover your license plate. Just saved your life buddy.
Meanwhile they can continue to be used to catch illegals and criminals and if you ever find yourself if this scenario where you will break the rules under marshal law and the only thing stopping you from doing so is the flock camera, you're good to go now

The crazier people get and the more of them, the more that CONTROL must trump personal privacy and freedom. I loathe the loss of freedom as I enjoyed a wonderful life in a wonderful time, but the people have radically changed since my youth.
The cameras will multiply just like AI, because of the good that such can do. Albeit good power in the hands of bad people is a bad thing.

This has nothing to do with solving crimes, and I bet the statistics on how many crimes have been solved via Flock cameras would reflect that. This is about drawing the line on surveillance period. You trust your government way too much, just take a look at all the stories of abuse coming out. Flock cameras are just a stepping stone to more invasive forms of surveillance. The founding fathers of this nation are rolling in their graves at this.

For all the Flockers,
Should you care if your first amendment rights get violated if you had nothing to say at the time?
What about second amendment rights? If you haven't needed a gun so far, do you really need one now? It would be safer for police to enter into your home when they need to knowing you don't have a gun.

Seems it was a sarcastic joke about the dark sides of power

I want you to list one place you go in your life where you aren't on camera at least once going, there, leaving and then make your case of why these specific cameras are going to be what is used against you, while simultaneously being on 1000 other cameras.
That's the point. I get when I go into a store, the office or a courthouse, I will be on camera. However, when I am, traveling from my house to my hunting lease or going fishing, it is no ones frickn business where I am or where I am going. Just the fact that if someone has all of my info from going from point A to point B is bull shite.

You don't leave your house without a door bell camera seeing you do so. Begin there
I don't have one and do not need one. I have Goldens that probably would want to play but they sure as hell will bark and anyone not knowing them will NOT break in. LOL

Can't believe you buffoons are falling for this obvious campaign of flock cameras are catching illegals so democrats want to get rid of them. Should feel reallllll dumb ;)
Freedom to travel and legally mingle with whom I chose without daddy government tracking me is one of the foundations of Liberty this country was built upon.
They have stingray and can track cell towers already.
Why do we need millions of cameras that track us every frickn place we go?
Reminds me of something a totalitarian government would do.

Careful the power you give government today......

Imagine walking around with a gps microphone in your pocket, car gps, CCTV everywhere, ring door bell cameras, traffic cameras, and then the license plater reader is what you allow to get you rustled up?
This is exactly it. We already have a surveillance state. I live in a neighborhood with a “virtual gate” ( ie cameras on every corner) and my local police department has plate readers on all of their squad cars. Nothing about flock cameras take away any more of my freedoms that I haven’t already lost. There is no more privacy any more——fricking Roombas have cameras/recording, your laptop cameras can be accessed remotely, your Alexa, Siri, and Xfinity remote controls are currently inside your homes and zero outrage. Your cell phone has tracking that can be accessed by law enforcement. My across the street neighbor has a ring camera recording every time I leave my home. My next door neighbor has a ring camera that captures my back yard and pool area. Companies track every move I make on line and are allowed to customize what I see the next time I log in and every question I have ever typed in to my private computer inside of my own home
I get the knee jerk anti-surveillance state response to these cameras, but I fail to see why this is the breaking point.

So do these cameras not monitor people in cars? Because the 4th Amendment applies to vehicles.

Because it isn’t necessarily true. Do these cameras track people in cars? Your expectation of privacy in your car is much lower than your home, but to say you have no expectation of privacy is flat out wrong.

1) the constitution is not flimsy.
2) you want to talk about hiding behind flimsy arguments when you carry your statement with the worn out "expectation of privacy" talking point. That actually doesn't hit the mark.

Make that make sense. By that logic we should also defund the police and just let people break any law they choose, "because DA's release them anyway."
Yeah man, make it make sense. Ask the liberal, the advocate, and the Soros funded DAs and judges how they are serving their public's safety by letting violent crimes right back out into the street.
And explain to me how no cash bail makes sense, because I don't get that one either.

People like you are why innocent people end up in jail.
The crazy part is you are the most likely candidate.

You break laws constantly without even realizing it.
Did you come to a full stop at every stop sign in your life?
Did you signal every turn?
Did you speed at any point in your life?
I would also like to add that flock cameras are owned by a private entity. They can and do, do anything with that data for entities willing to pay for their services. These aren't government owned cameras that you have a legal right to access if you have an issue.
