He bought a 4X failed Alzheimer's drug, changed the name and rebranded it under his company, pumped it on TV, his company mooned then he unloaded on retail before it failed clinical a fifth time. That's how he made his money.

If the government hadn't operated completely outside of its means for 60+ years, then I would say that idea is abhorrent. When you have massive debt, though, something has to give, and the "death tax" is irrelevant to most Americans.

A guy who said he was "apolitical" until just a few short years ago, who now sounds like the most conservative guy in the block.

That doesn't add up for me. I didn't arrive at my political beliefs overnight, and there was certainly never a time when I was apolitical and then suddenly SO POLITICAL that I needed to run for office, let alone POTUS.

I like the things he's saying TODAY, but I don't trust him at all. He's still talking like this 15 years from now, we'll talk.

There are basically 4 things that I think he needs to address before getting any serious consideration from me.

1) What confidence should we have that he is capable of managing the fiscal responsibilities of this country? And don’t give me he ran a business and is worth 100s of millions. No, his “company” has NEVER made money, and kudos to him for cashing out early, but he has never run a profitable enterpise. Roviant was a classic pump and dump. It’s supposedly worth Billions but has revenues of $33mm and loses 100s of millions each quarter.

2) Please explain contributions to Act Blue and other democratic organizations as recently as 2016.

3) Please explain why your “subsidiary” of Roviant, Datavant, wanted a National Medical Database for ALL US Citizens. Oh and BTW, Datavant has never made money either (shocking, I know).

4) Please clarify, specifically, your stance on estate taxes, taxes in general, tarrifs, etc. He needs to explain why he once believed in a 59% death tax.

I haven’t taken the time to evaluate him.
Trump is dominating things, had a huge lead in the polls, and unless something huge happens he will be the nominee. There is no reason to listen to any of the others, Trump has it locked up.

On one of 6 drugs. That’s what the media isn’t reporting. 5 of his drugs he saw over into Phase 3. Which at phase 3 you then most likely allow a 3rd party parent rights to the drug to fight for FDA funding/approval.

He explained this. A colleague told him about an event completely unrelated to politics and the cost of the event of the payment made. He later found out what charity he donated to. Think about it, that’s exactly how’s you would expect Act Blue to operate

Reminds me of Bobby Jindal and I’m not just talking about his ethnicity. Like Bobby, he’s a fast talker, much like a salesman giving his pitch. This gives me pause.

Also, something about him always smiling doesn’t sit right with me, it seems disingenuous.

Overall, he just gives me a bad vibe.

Beyond that, some of his positions are questionable in my opinion. Still, he is a better option than pretty much any democrat alternative.
